The plants look pretty good there's no spots or anything on the plants they look really green and are growing really well the little bugs are very very tiny they are clear kind of whitish in color and Scurry they don't jump or have wings I have been trying to figure out exactly what they are but it's hard to get ahold of one. There is no signs of them on the plant yet i took all 3 plants out and checked them over and under leaves.only one pot seems to have them. I will dig a bit deeper in the info on here and see what i can come up with. Maybe i can get a pic of the little bastards. Crossing fingers its nothing to worry about. But being my first grow im a bit of a newb and although my buddy has many grows under his belt he dosnt know everything so thats why im here. Thanks for the helpful responses! What kind of mites do you have? Are there only in soil or also on the plant. Are plants showing any damage because of the presence of those mites? Are those mites moving fast or slow? Do they have any spots?
Identify those mites first before you take any further action and start dumping crap in your grow.
Just because they are mites doesn't mean they are the bad guys.
You managed to navigate to the infirmary section now take further action and start educating yourself. On top of the page there are sticky threads, one.of them is about bugs. Have a good read.
old on do not assume mites do not kill yet. Pic of the bugs. I know it’s hard to get. Do they spring around? And only seen in soil?Well let me first start off by saying my name is Zay and I'm a First Time Cannabis grower I got my hands on some Gorilla Glue seeds out of a batch a buddy had grown last year. I just went and checked on my plants which are about a month-and-a-half into growing and noticed that I have some tiny little white bugs which appear to be mites in the soil on one plant as far as I can tell. My buddy who grows all the time and I get advice from recommended azamax but I have been reading that that will only kill the juveniles in the adults and not the eggs is there anything that I can do to kill the eggs also I was hoping to put these plants into flower in a couple of weeks and now I'm thinking it's probably going to have to get pushed off any help or recommendations on in insecticide. A little background on it I'm using soil and an LED 600 watt light4x2x5.5 tent. Plants seem to be pretty healthy bushing out no yellowing of Leafs or anything like that as of yet. Any one use avid or forbid? Is it too late in the grow?
Yup if this the case I almost killed a ton last grow. Glad I didn’t. They are good bugs. Not sure if any science but the pots I had tons of them in grew better.Sounds like springtails. Harmless.
Ok looks like springtail. Move top little layer of soil n they move all around ?Ok this is not actually the pest but the closest thing i could find to represent what im seeing. I may just keep a close eye on them and see whats going to happen and see if it gets any worse. Keep in mind these are like smaller than a grain of sand super tiny.
