Long story short, two viable photo's and per the 50/50 odds one was male so I had to chop him last week.

Fifteen days after flipping to flower. My first indoor grow, organic soil. I was very curious as to how I did with my soil and the condition of the root system, etc. I performed an autopsy and I have never seen a root ball this big. IMHO I did something right.

Seven gallon fabric pots. Nothing was root bound but the roots were top to bottom, side to side and even throughout. Please give your opinion on how this looks to someone with experience.

Looks like a normal rootball you’d would be surprised at how thick and compact they can get as you say looks like you did something right

I noticed the past week she has gotten very thirsty. I may have waited a bit too long to flip considering she is taking up most of a 4x4 but I'm good with that this run, but next time I want to do multiples. 2-3 in the 4x4. I have some of the latest CBD-B beans that will be going in to edibles as a 1-1 to try to copy what we get from the dispensary.

Just a wait and see from here to see the yield.

Yeah, plants typically will start to eat/drink much more once you flip to flower, especially during the "stretch" phase.

One tip I generally like to give people is not to switch to bloom nutrients too early. Some folks will literally start to feed bloom nutes the second they flip to 12/12. In my opinion and experience, this starves the plants from much needed nitrogen in that "stretch" period. This is all up to you, and may depend based upon what kind of nutes you are using, but I typically like to keep feeding Veg ferts up to about week 2 or 3 of flower, after that stretch has started. You can even start mixing veg and bloom nutes, say 50/50, 75/25, etc. until you get past the stretch. Take this advice loosely, though. Like I said it mostly depends on what fertilizers you are using, etc. But generally speaking, it helps to have extra Nitrogen up to, and through the stretch period of flowering.
