I just leave them, they break down during the next grow cycle, never had them cause any issues.

If they're really bad mine go in the washing machine when no one is looking.

Back when I had a lot we went to the Laundromat. Only got kicked out once.

Been using the same fabric pots for five years! It ain’t a thang! And it’s also not a beauty contest!

Left them in the sun 2 days the roots seems to kind of dust off somewhat so maybe once in the wash will remove more of it.

All right! I admit I take special measures! My 35 gallon fabric pots, I fill a garbage can up with water and stuff them in and let them sit for a couple of hours and swish them around and throw them out and let them dry! it’s hell being OCD! But indoors is probably a different story! I think there is a five step program to ensure complete sterility and remove all blemishes! and change your clothes and shower before and after!

Lol. I know I got OCD too...damnnnn it sucks. Anyways ya I just thought the old roots would mess with the uptake of water or what not. I'll throw them in the wash and see how it goes.

I hose them down outside so they are as free from soil as I can get them. If they need more cleaning, I run them through the washer. My wife has run them through a time or two here so I don't even have to hide it. lol

I was being facetious! As usual! I am as far from OCD as you can get this side of hell! Get them growing!
