Hello.
I recently put up ks3000 in 2.5 x 2.5 tent.
I'm getting temps at 82-84 on full power.

I'm not sure if I should lower the brightness to bring temp down a few degrees to high 70's and thus lose good par levels

Unfortunately, air conditioner right now isn't practical.

Naturally I'm worried about losing temps and then powdery mildew also.

Plant is happy now although too much N but she's been dealing with it OK.

I tried to put a 3rd fan in the tent but that didn't help. Think it made it worse some how

82-84 is still in the range, and most mildews like it below 80 (but that's not an absolute). The key to supressing mildew is keeping the R/H down in the 30-45 range and keeping good airflow. That said, you can do everything right, and still get powdery mildew, the spores are floating in the air, on you clothes, hands. etc. it's the nature of the beast!

My rh is around 55 58 or so. If I go to 40 45rh the vpd will be much higher and could be an issue no?

I have at least 2 fans going all times. I have a 6" exhaust fan and filter and connected to vivo sun controller42.

I have an "tube for intake and it's leading to my windrow so I get cool air intaking. Was great in cold winter in NYC. But now with 50 60f weather it doesn't cool it down enough anymore.

I think once I get further along ill raise light and decrease brightness. I'll lose some par probably but I think she looks very healthy and will thrive either way.

If you are able to, you can sometimes remove the driver for the panel and mount it outside of the grow space. Cute cat.

32" x 32"" x 63"

I meant to write 4" intake tube connected to windrow for fresh cool air.

The driver is completely outside of the tent by windrow.

Cats name is shadow. I like to throw his photo around randomly. Lol

Greenadian, I like your set up. Really cool.
I have a few small seedlings going on other tent and want to do a similar thing but not sure what size pot I want to use as a final. Most are in solo cups but one recently went into 2 gal.

Powdery mildew hits the hardest with hot dry days and cool damp nights. It thrives in the swing/extremes. This is a very important distinction that a lot of growers overlook. This is going to sound crazy but sometimes a little more daytime rh is beneficial together with warmer nights, especially if the tent runs hot.

You won't loose the terps unless it's hot and bone dry. It's the transpiration rate that gasses the terps into the air. You're correct that VPD is very useful in this situation. Your rh is good.

Thanks @GhostRR im thinking its goin to be tough to keep the smaller sized tent cool. Probably just have to dim the light down and go with the flow

I run my larger room with CO2 and its usually 82Β° in there, around 40% humidity. No major issues
