Spider Farmer dehumidifier stopped working after less than 2 weeks

My @SpiderFarmerLED dehumidifier has stopped working after only 13 days. Anyone else had this happen? Got any ideas if I can make it work again?

It was on all night set to 50% but the tent was over 60% humidity all night and it didn't collect any water

I've contacted @SpiderFarmerLED and no reply yet, but it's only been 40 mins!

Unfortunately that's not it, as I checked this morning and it's empty. It hadn't collected a drop of water last night, despite high humidity

It's started working again!

I switched it off for about an hour. Then unplugged for about 10 seconds and plugged it back in

It appears to have fixed the problem! For now....

If its one of those cheap peltier types they frezze and stop working but usually there is a defrost option.

This is an expensive compressor dehumidifier, so my expectations were high

Can this be used plugged into a timer? Wonder if it would keep the settings if you just set the timer to go on for a few hours every night... Like say, during the lights out schedule when the humidity rises.
