Hello all,

So I bought the spider farmer SF300 for my seedlings and I’ve never used this brand before so I know nothing of it. I was just wondering how high should I keep the light from the canopy? The manual does a horrible job at specifying it!

Best thing to do is get a lux meter and shoot for 5-9k for seedlings. I just used an app on the app store called kortana. The LED option is like 4 bucks, and I’m sure it’s not completely accurate, but it’s a good guide

I have 4 seedlings in 3" jiffy pots and they are in my tent at 30-32 inches from canopy. Different light though, Viparspectra 450w 2 cycle on blue and white Leds. I popped them under a compact curly light for a week. Hope that helps. Growers will intercede soon.

I got great advice on here. Download the lux meter app. 5k lux from soil week 1, 10k week 2, 20k week 3 is what I did. It uses a sensor in ur camera.. .pretty nifty

Well, look nice. We will pay more attention to it ❀
