I'm growing again for the first time in 25 years- boy have things changed since then! I bought some seeds and chucked them in a Vegepod outside and then moved to a grow tent in the garage once they started flowering and smelling up the place. Unfortunately I brought spider mites, white flies, and gnats along for the ride. The spider mite problem didn't seem too bad and so I decided against insecticides- may have been wrong with that decision! Now all my fan leaves are practically yellow or really speckled. Still no big webs anywhere, but I do see threads occassionally. The buds seem fine to me though. I can't pull any of the leaves off, I've pulled them apart to look inside and just see all green no brown. RH has been from 50-70% the whole time, average 61.7. Temperature has been 21-30, average 25.7.

I have four auto-flowers and harvested one of them recently, even though it was probably a week early (trichomes were half clear, half milky). I did a trim, then bud wash with baking soda, H2O2, and lemon juice and now its hanging up in my closet inside. They look fine to me. No mould, no sign of any pests coming along for the ride. The ones still in the grow room have signs of just about every leaf being eaten by mites, probably a calcium deficiency, and what I'm hoping can be mistaken for PM but is actually just god damn spider mite damage. I was hoping people could confirm after having a look. They look so sad compared to just two weeks ago when they were far more green.

My plan is to just keep going the next 1-2 weeks I have left, pulling off dead leaves to the point where perhaps there are no more fan leaves, and do a thorough wash at harvest. Maybe one plant at a time in my closet to isolate them.

I'm curious if others have had problems like this and how it all ended up for them.

Thanks!

Thanks, yeah I concluded it was spider mites as well. I washed the plant well at harvest, hung it upside down, cut off the stems at the bottom (top), and then after random scoping did see only one mite that looked starving and about to die. Going to enjoy smoking it!
