I learned a trick from high times may about how they get their pics.
Using a dslr cam, tripod, and xxx settings (I forgot all the tech data). They take a pic, focus in a tad, snap another, repeat for 6 or so frames. Then into your photo editing software, overlap those pics on top of each other.

It's called focus stacking. More precise aprroach is a camera mounted on a rail that moves 0.05mm every shot and stack multiple pictures together. This way you can use aperture where your lens is sharpest but you lack depth of field so many more shots are required. The end product however is very well worth it.
