Thank you and i was not aware. I honestly never heard of the brand til I started doing research and was surprised to see it in store at walmart. With a quick lookup I found that this, "worked" and was recommended to use so I grabbed it. When it comes to the nitrogen aspect. If it is low for the plants i have a ton of compost(i think its close to a literal ton) with both rabbit and chicken manure mixed in which will certainly help. I planned on doing an 80/20 or 70/30 mix with my compost being the smaller number when theyre in their final growing pot.Hey grow bro I see you have a bag of Dr Earth in your pile.
Are you aware that Dr Earth produces a cannabis grow chart? It is Taylor made for cannabis
I can tell you from experience from NOT running the cannabis feed chart that you have the wrong Gold product for cannabis. I used that and lost a bunch of yield from nitrogen deficiency.
Here is the download from Dr Earth for the cannabis chart. I recommend you print this out as it has a lot of good information.

Good luck!
My fear with that build is that the buffers in the peat soil will run out with a large percentage of compost. You also should put at least 10 % by volume perlite and I actually prefer the MG perlite that has " stuff " in it.Thank you and i was not aware. Im just using my well water. I still gotta get some other supplies still but opted to not pick them up at this moment as they were not needed to start. I also have a concentrated and compressed(also organic) seed starting mix in the paper bag from burpee which from my understanding is also great to utilize for drainage. Its cheap(like 4 bucks for 8 quarts) so at least in my ass backwards head is a viable option. My fear with that build is that the buffers in the peat soil will run out with a large percentage of compost. What water source are you using? I have a cheap RO filter that gives me a good source.
From my last grow and if you search me you can find my 3 grows on here you can see how bad the fade got in mid flower. I had started shoveling EWC into the pots to stop the leaf drop due to using the wrong stuff and I overdid it. The stuff worked down to the bottom and became mud I put so much in it.
I have since moved to fish shit for spot nitrogen saves.
If you have not done so hit those 3 horizontal bars and navigate to forums then catagories. Page down until you find grow diaries
Once in grow diaries use the spyglass to add search terms like organic growing, Dr earth, and perhaps the strain your are planning. This will then search for this posts that are closest to your grow. You can read very detailed grows with numbers and great pictures and low tech grows from folks just starting out.
Some of the best diaries are total failures that are full of mistakes that you will not make cause you know how it turns out from the diaries.
Good Day dman,So far this is what ive purchased. I know there are folks that are very against discount brands and whatnot(please save me the complaining in that respect). But im doing it with things easily obtainable at local stores that way I can find out if growing is right for me without dropping a crap load of money. Once the fan and tent come in ill be ready to start. Based off of my purchases I think im headed in the right direction.
When i use the phase, "if its right for me" i mean if i have enough time to tend to it. We have two active kids and also the general understanding of how to grow because when i first looked my head spun because of all the information thrown at people.Good Day dman,
I hope you have a good experience here.
In response to what you said about complaining and finding out if growing is right for you.
If you purchase things that dont work your grow is going to suck and your growing experience will feel like its not right for you. We want you to have a good experience.
I know Im going to get some hate for this but do a google search " Why is Mirical grow not good for cannabis".
When you first get your tent set up and your light in it, check to make sure you have NO light leaks. Make sure there are no LEDs on in the tent that are not blocked in surge protectors, humidifiers, timers etc.
When buying your light do your research on what size light you need based on the footprint of your tent and if LED dont be fooled by the equivalent wattage, dive deep and go by what it actually pulls from the wall.
Rsearch, research, research.
Just a few tips to get you started.
Welcome

Thats the way ive been seeing it its a weed lol As long as i dont fry it it'll make it. Plus on here(i think this is the diary part of the forum) i can take pictures and videos and get advice that way too. I know i have my neighbor and a buddy that can teach me in person things too. Theyre no pros either but they know more than me lmaoAgreed. Research is the biggest mistake I see with new growers.
Not that I'm any pro either, but that rectangle thing in your hand holds all the magic needed. Hell...that's all I've been doing....researching better strains for my location and environment, for growing outdoors, in my type of medium...Amended earth, and how I can improve it for what I'm growing .
To the OP...I understand, I went minimal last grow, too. I had less than $100 in all, for last years grow, and that included the gas in the truck and boat, when collecting fish to feed the plants.
I tend to shop at local greenhouse stores over big name stores. Folks there can help point u in the right direction for what your growing. Usually for a cheaper price, too. Even if it's a little more, the guidance/help is worth the cost.
Guys here may say things u don't like, but we all have your best interest. Ya just need to pick how you want to grow in, (medium) and how. ( Indoor/Outdoor). Pots or in ground/ raised bed, organic or synthetic nutes or hybrid there of
See...it's not complicated
It's a weed...have fun with it, it's quite resilient. learn from mistakes, that's how we better ourselves , and learn from each other.
