Started the Blue Microverse auto

I decided I can do the box later but I went ahead and started the Blue Microverse auto. Hydroton GH Trio Ts1000 and ts600 5 gallon bucket in bathtub. The pics are around 24 hours old and yes all of them.

Air pump went out but I was able to fix it. Reeds went out or actually they were dirty. If you have an air pump that works but isn't pushing air it's probably the reed. Temporary fix is use a piece of sandwich bag cut into the shape of reed.

What I used as tut.

Something isn't right plant is growing at a snails pace, no roots visible at 8 days old.

It was the pH for some reason it's going up and high. It has always went down no matter what. Only thing I can think of it is spring water and maybe the rain or pump added something. Back on track but 4 days behind.

13 days old.

I think this plant will be a monster if I wanted. I'm going for small but doubtful.

First pic is today and second pic is from yesterday. I added set up pics.

So far so good. I will say this is definitely a delicate plant according to site it should toughen up as it gets older.

Raised ppm too 250 also raised light along with wattage from 25% to 30%. Temp is 77-79 during lights on and I need to figure out what the humidifier needs set at so I can drop nighttime temps. I'd like to get it around 74 lights off.

So far so good minus the light burn.

They looking very nice

Just had too post this It's air bubbles from the stone that floated up making a darn near perfect rectangle on top of water. No there's nothing floating on top of water except the bubbles. I have it sitting in water in case I need it asap.

Not sure what happened. I know something's getting in there eating leaves think it's a moth but not sure. I'll try killing it tonight when it gets on the TV. The center is my issue it's way off. Twisted and bright green? Everything's fine as for growing. 196ppm, 77F, 60% rh, fan above and level of plant, 35% power on ts1000 light at 18" away. I can top it there but I was hoping to just lst it.

Not sure what's going on with plant. Maybe it's genetics still have lime green growth and regular green leaves. It's eaten over 40 ppm over night. Make a new bucket today.

Those using GH Trio 1/4 teaspoon of micro in 3 gallons of water is a tad much for Blue Microverse. Website says take it easy as it's growing first few weeks and I screwed that up so I'm behind on grow days. I'm using 1/2 teaspoon now which it took too pretty easy.

I can smell it which is saying a lot. If I can smell it has to be super strong.

Thought maybe root rot it does have something on roots but might be normal. A section of roots has hard white balls or knobs on them. Centers are still bright green but maybe genetics. I don't like it but plants still wanting to grow.

I've found one of those lady bug type Beatles, 2 mealy moths, 1 flying ant (queen), 1 regular ant and something that sort of looked like a dragon fly no gnat problem.

Thick root coming out of net cup has the hard knobs. Roots are good though and maybe a bit calmag stained but they're white in light.

This may sound stupid but maybe that root section was constantly bumped against the net cup from the air so it developed those hard knobs?

I've searched seen a couple things but nothing significant.

Back on track but a tad much nitro.

pH problems still but went ahead and raised ppms to 1000. Seed site said take it easy but didn't elaborate so not sure. It's starving so why I went from 300ppm to 1000ppm and so far so good. I didn't just jump over night. I spent yesterday adding nutes till I reached 600ppm. Today I made the new bucket at 1000ppm.

Reason I assumed it was the food too take easy because seed site said in my version You may crop, top, flip, flop, trim, belly flop. Just said take it easy in the beginning.

I was told it'll come in with twisted leaves so it's genetics. Also told it's a little short but it did start the stretch yesterday.
