Hey whatsup guys. So after a lot of work put into this little grow op i wanted to post it up and im finally nearing grow time. So check it out.. my plan is to SCROG 4 plants considering such a small space. Im working with a 150 HPS, 167 CFM intake and exhaust pc fans hooked up to a controller, and a bubbleponics design hydro system i put together based on a website i was looking into that makes stealth hydro kits. I still have a few things to get together such as a tube to connect the water pump to the multi-watering irrigation manifold. Im planning to germinate my feminized white rhino seeds tomorrow so im hoping all goes well! ill be sure to keep whoevers interested posted.. this is pretty much my first grow as well so any suggestions would be great:] Pics below. enjoy!

I've got just a couple of comments. I too built a setup similar to yours and first thing is you should move the air pump so that it is higher than the tub in case of a power outage. Water will go back into the pump if it is not running and is lower than the level of the water. Or you can get a check valve for the air line.Second, you need to make sure that you can keep the water temperature lower than 75 degrees. I didn't think that it mattered much and ruined my grow with root rot.

hey largepoppa. i actually just put the air pump there for pics. im going to keep it right on top of the resevior. i had a feeling someone was going to mention that haha. and my ventilation is pretty sufficient so im hoping i wont have a problem with overheating water. also i plan to use hydrogen peroxide regularly in my water mix so it should help alot. thanks though!

thats sketch, also to reduce sketchiness i suggest you surround the outer part of the fans with some type of tube to limit light emissions. good luck and god have mercy on your plants.

update!

so i got my seeds germinating. i have them in rockwool cubes soaked with a distilled water/hydrogen peroxide/SuperThrive mix. they sit in my lil humidity dome with a heat pad right underneath.

Im really happy to have these started except i ran into a problem with my hydro system... The irrigiation manifold doesnt seem to be working properly. i hooked up all the tubes and the pump works great. the only issue is when the pump is connected to the 6 way manifold the water seems to only trickle out. it has no power.. any idea why this could be?

seeds are sproutin!

So its day 5 of germinating and my girls are starting to show some progress. Ive made some changes to my box too. The intake fan was removed and replaced with a simple screen in order to prevent pressure problems. My fans were turning off on there own cause the pressure in the box was causing them to use more power.. Anyway im really happy to see these babies showin themselves and i hope to see more progress

There are two reasons why the water would only be a trickle. First, you have to check the manifold to see if they are opened all the way. I have a different one but I think those brown knobs control the amount of flow to each individual line. If it isn't that, then the pump you have does not have enough flow. Depending on your watering schedule, a trickle should be enough to keep the rockwool moist. I lost some babies before because the rockwool was too saturated and it drowned the roots.

yeah it turns out the manifold i bought was a drip system-_- its supposed to trickle... i ended up removing the rubber washer inside it so i now have full water flow. and unfortunately today i found one of my seedlings snapped. it was struggling to pop out of the seed and it broke its stem right at the base of the leaves. such a shame guess ill have to find another clone or something
