I wanted to start a little thread to show what the stems look like on "trained" plants. Here's a few of mine; feel free to post pics of your own monster stems or crazy looking LST jobs... Or just any stems, in general. Show us some LEG! :)

Nice legs on a 5' Mosca C99

Rocky Mtn Dream

Purple Haze

FredHead (Bubbleberry x Kushage) I try to reinforce big girls whenever they split, so they don't split...lol, Experience with top-heavy plants has made me wiser. Many times the buds get so heavy some of the branches split off main stems. It's important your girls get proper support (stakes, string, scrog, trellis...) if they're big yielders.

LOL! it sure does. I wish I had pics of my outdoor grows from years ago. Tree trunks as big around as my arm. I was to see some of those, outdoor growers! Show us some tree trunks!

Nice one, convex! I find it hysterical to see huge plants in hydro systems like this- giant trunks coming out of tiny pots... I have to buy new net pots after every run- they get trashed by the root systems...

I just chuck em at end of run if too badly interwoven with the pot - no pellets to clean ... handful of hydroton and a 30 cent pot ain't gonna break me ;)

Cheers

Now there's the gnarly looking trunk I was talking about. That's a beautiful outdoor plant! Nice stealth grow, too. I have always been afraid of a big green/purple tree standing out amongst the drab brown of high plains desert 'vegetation' (if you can call it that...lol). That girl pretty much blended right in- at least to a color-blind guy like myself.

edit- and what gorgeous plants!! Is that chop saw on the table for when you trim?! lol

I am loving it. Keep 'em coming, folks! Humboldtlocal, that's just nasty. In our circle, we call that sexy. LOL!
Lil Miss Lone- your last pic doesn't even look real. :) that plant has got some zig to match the zag...
It's amazing how plants can take abuse and become stronger for the resistance. Makes me want to take notes...

You betcha, Funk! I like the top pic the best- did you twist that girl when you transplanted? lol The second photo looks a lot like some kind of bulb plant- did you cross cannabis to tulips, or plant a potato? :) Thanks for posting!
