Will do. I need to manage ppm better as I neglect it. Like I said, I’m still learning.
Appreciate the wisdom

So it’s best to back off spraying lost coast when the buds start thickening? I thought that’s when it’s needed most.

If you are maintaining your environment properly you won’t need to worry about spraying. That’s what I mean by preventing it in the first place. If the conditions are not right for PM and bud rot it ain’t gonna happen.

Thank’s for the clarity. I keep pretty strict on the temp and rh.

So is it fair to say that Lost Coast, as well as any other foliage feeding, stops when the buds appear?

update, I tested ph and ppm when watering with dechlorinated tap water this morning till I had about 10% runoff. Here’s what I found.

PPM (ph)
Water IN - 460 (6.4)

Plant 1 Runoff - 2516 (6.5)

Plant 2 Runoff - 3256 (6.7)

i would follow the schedule feeding on plant 1 and just give water to plant two so that the nutrient levels get back to range.

Aah, thank you. I was/am planning to just water next time. I’ve been rotating compost tea into the rotation. I wonder if I should reconsider as I’m almost certainly over feeding.

Thanks for the help. It seems like a good community to join!

you just got to be careful, have some knowledge, can't go by other's opinions each garden is different what it looks to someone else may not be your issue, looks can be deceiving which knowledge comes in hand, I learned to grow my own back in the 90s reading high times reading Ed Rosenthal's books, after reading them after putting 1 down the feeling the aggravation something very little can a big issue, you will run into it, the main thing is don't rush it, let nature takes its course, I been hearing & sense envious, etc, takes money to grow high-grade weed, like Ed Rosenthal's motto your plants is what you put into them, garbage in garbage out, that goes with lighting soil fertilizers, etc ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I have one of Ed Rosenthal’s book and it has helped me a ton. I think it’s hard to read the trichs. In my last grow I tried a macro lens on my camera, a cheap digital microscope, a jewelers loop, a more expensive digital microscope…and I STILL chopped too early. I’m not chopping these down till I get some external verification lol.

I definitely feel envious sometimes as I learned using YouTube, Ed Rosenthal’s Marijuana Grower’s Handbook, and the Cannabis Grow Bible (3rd edition) as my guides. But when I see the monster frosty nugs from youtubers it does make me strive for that quality. I know it will come if I keep at it. Step 1 is STOP CHOPPING EARLY!

Thanks for the reply!

My Northern light auto(left side tallest plant). Too much fertilizer and not enough Cal-Mag left me with a tall non branch plant. Nice buds though. Cut all fan leaves before leaving in total darkness about 48 hours. Hawaiian Kush(middle) and Blue Kiss all auto. They are all at 9 weeks.
