I am growing 6 strawberry kush feminized seeds and they are huge! Biggest plants I have ever had. I am getting a little worried about my girls ! I am from upstate NY and the weather can be a bit tricky come the beginning of fall. The morning due and low temperatures at night with rain ect. My girls are a little behind schedule I think thinking they will be ready to harvest 2nd week of October which could be pushing the chances of damage. Any suggestions or tips to prevent mold and bud rot?

Hey Cookie.....that area looks like the finger lakes region......and the best we can do is cover them with a tent or shake the shit outta them when it's done raining......wishing you the best, also from CNY.....

I religiously hose my girls off in the early mornings to remove caterpillar/insect remnants as that is a major cause or bud rot. Also agree with @Bilber covering at night is beneficial. Plants look amazing!!

Growing anywhere that frost and cooler temperatures always has its issues.

Southern Ontario has many strains finishing on or after Halloween.

Yes there are some selected ones that finish monsters sooner, but those seeds just don’t seem to sell at the banks.

Good luck with your grow, patience is the key.

Yes indeed is the finger lakes haha and I haven’t got a tent yet but have been shaking them 2–3 times a day with this rain we have been getting and also in morning especially with the dew
