I've seen a few farmers here using a Nikon Coolpix, 100 bucks. new at Wallyworld...great pics and sweet zoom for buds and stuff. I'm getting one in the near future.

For real good macros you might want a usb scope. My coolpix is hard to get good macros really need a better camera for that and a tri pod

depends on how close you mean when you say macro, this is about it with a 200.00 camera, anything closer would need a usb scope ime.i dont use a tripod, but im not a shaky person and sometimes i rest my arm on something to take close ups.but 95% of the pics i post are just trying to stand still, and all those pics with the fire extinguisher i take are with one hand, cause im holding the buds with the other hand :)

@LittleDabbie Youve seen some of my photos over the last year or so. Its a Nikon Coolpix 4200. It does an ok macro. I am going to get a tripod to get better macro shots and see if that improves my macro shots.

I did !!! ;) I think the s2800 is going to be the one atm its priced 100$ off so its a steal i can get the same deal for 10$ cheaper on ebay w/ all the same shit.. Think im going to do it! :D

Everyone says nikon coolpix! Reviews look decent.. Its a point and shoot.. Says its good with close ups.. Cant be any worse then the fucking GE pos im using now.
