thanks ! some "brew's" call for un-sulfur molasses ? liquid vs powder ? ("Kelp 4 Less" have great organic // /products purchased their Liquid Gold as a Booster

Not very important the sulphured and unsulphured imo but if you have the option definitely unsulphured. Powdered and liquid works the same. Powder is easier to ship and store and you’re not paying for all the water inside the liquid. If its organic and food grade go for powdered.

Liquid gold, i never used the stuff so i can’t say much but again all the organic recipes can be replicated in your home. Thats the beauty. This is a microbial product as it seems. Derived from fish hydrolsate with a ton of fulvic and humic acids. This can be replicated too. If you bought it use it, see what it does for your garden.

But my advice is to use each of these boosters alone thru one grow at least to see if they really work. Find the ones you like best and make recipes thats easy for you to replicate. Some products can be replicated to perfection some are way harder or requires special equipment. But even in those cases, you can get pretty close with fraction of the price.

Thanks, just a curious guy here. Never claim to know everything.

About chemical nutes, well you can finish them or gift them to someone. You can always use them on non edible plants too, like in your garden. Chemicals are not useless because i prefer not use them. Plants will love it nearly just as much. With nutes we cram down our cannabis’ neck in a season, we can sustain a flower garden for a long time.

When it comes down to the finished product, what do you think will put out a better product in the end...Organic or synthetic? Or a combo of both?...Then of course the next question would be, what and when to introduce them?

*By better product, I mean the full spectrum. The potency in the high, the smell, and the look...Overall

I learned from the Giant Pumpkin guys. If you are looking for massive yields, yet still produce amazing quality..... It's all about organic inputs, and chemical fertilizers as a quick boost during critical periods of influence. I tend to stick to organics, but I have seen the results from the help of chemicals and it's undeniable.

Nutes arent gonna give you that. That’s the whole combo of the environment you create.

Don’t know man. Never grown chemical anything. I’m a sucker for organic and i do think everything is better when grown organically (maybe except in the yields department, sometimes)

In that same line of thought, imo, if you know the cultivar and its specific needs, you can achieve similar effects by providing those specific boosts with organics too. Fpes are great for those boosts. Very potent and readily available.

I was wondering about sulphur. It’s in my flush agent. Sulphur mag empty chelates But same thing molasses is recommended unsulphured.
Then on my flush agent it says use 2 ml per liter last week bloom. Then continue water only til harvest. Google says drench with stronger mix let sit 6 hrs n flush. Then water only til chop.

I’ve been doing the second but wonder what the effects of the added sulphur over that week feed would be over the 6 hr soak?

Idk I’m almost at flush starting point so maybe I’ll try feeding the flawless finish for a week first n see if there’s a difference. Clones of same strain I been running so I should be able to tell if it’s noticable. I was thinking of using the flush a week this time anyways then clean water.
But I wonder if the sulphur will turn things up A little more. Already stupid loud.

Would love to know an organic that can compete with the instant uptake of monopotassium phosphate, 0 54-32. Would love to know a P product that is higher than 15 in the NPK ratio, then have instant uptake.......

If you find it let me know. :)

Banana peels are 42 K, some bat guano are +15 P, bone meal is +15 P. You can dissolve them with em or lab and get a pretty strong organic booster.

If you read what i wrote you will see that i said you can get similar results not same. ;)

Yea I am finishing up my 2nd grow now, which was synthetic. I am gonna try a completely organic regimen with this next grow to see the variance. Really wanna see the difference, bc many people swear by organic.

Fermented plant extract. Fresh or dried plant material pickled with sugar and left for fermenting. I use lactobacillus serum for the process. Speeds it up and inhibits the smell. Any organic material can be broken down with this process into a liquid organic fertilizer.

Right now i got banana peels (great weight booster), alfalfa (triacontanol and all the goodies) and stinging nettle (perfect for veg) ready and going and doing a aloe vera (amino acids, hormones, enzymes etc.) and a fermented bat guano (flower booster). I got my line set up :D
Next gonna do a fermented flower extract. Picking all the flowers i can find and cucumbers are very nice for that, also the lollipoped flowers from cannabis will go into it. Also looking into ohn. Keeping myself busy.

There’s an old thread that hits on same subject asked here...interesting stuff.
https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/feeding-sulfur-to-increase-terpenes.42346/

CrimsonEcho nice. Glad to hear your using and enjoying fpe. Has always been one of my favorite subjects and I have put a lot of work into sharing different recipes here on the farm. It’s been awhile but it’s an old method and works well and is simple. Glad your sharing.

I checked out a video on making your own lactobacillus serum. Good info, but it will take time to make that stuff...I just started a new grow with fox farm ocean forest (3 parts) to happy frog (1 part), bc a friend suggesting it as being a good out of the box organic soil mix. My question is I know there is food in there...Should I feed it anything besides ph’d water right now, or? I ordered some ogbiowar in the meantime to do an organic grow

Lactobacillus serum can be made in 5 to 7 days. Super simple. I posted a recipe here...actually a lot of recipes.
https://www.thcfarmer.com/community...acts-and-making-your-own-nutrient-line.18772/

Not sure where you are in your grow so can’t answer second part of your question.

Never seen a guano 15+ in P...... care to share?

Bone meal is not soluble. A good reason why Monopotassium phosphate is a great booster.

Banana peels, really? I can't even imagine the work that would go in, and the number of bananas to feed an acre crop. I imagine you would have to break down the peels first, but how? What exactly is your method here?
