The plants are really starting to put on some weight now. The lemon haze has some huge nugs developing. Hopefully will reach the predictions you guys made at about 100g per plant.
Getting there, 25 days left and buds are really starting to fatten up a treat. I am a little nervous as my last grow they got stressed and started to turn male right at the end which completely messed the strength of the final harvest.
So had a bit of a fisco with some light burn but all in all they are looking great. My second grow and have learnt so much again. 20 days left (currently day 50 of flowering) and so far have had 0 problems with pests or deficiencies. The only thing i would change for grow 3 is the veg time. I let these veg for 5 weeks and they are a little smaller than i had hoped for as stretch wasn't as much as the arjen strawberry haze (I had a problem with my last grow where the plants ended up being huge and ultimately unmanageable).
Fast approaching harvest, week 10 starts tomorrow. Am really happy withbthe results so far. Now they are putting on crystals like crazy. I think they will be ready in about 10 days. Let's see what they yeild
Ready for the chop. Day 70 of flowering. This grow has been amazing, not a single problem from when the seeds popped to harvest. Cut them down this morning before the lights went on. Let's see what I get. They stink so bad. The next grow going to get a strain that doesn't smell so dank hahaha Still I am very much looking forward to having a smoke in a couple of weeks.
So the harvest is dried and now curing, I am extremely happy with this grow. As previously stated, I haven't had a single problem regarding pests or nutrients, @BioBizz, as always, nailed it. The harvest was a tiny bit short of what I was expecting but think we always tend to over rather than underestimate the Yeild. The plants grew beautifully and genetics were on point as always from @greenhouseseed co.
The Yeilds were as follows:
Super Lemon Haze 1 = 90g
Super Lemon Haze 2 = 79g
Franco's Lemon Cheese = 84g
253g in total, almost exactly 3 oz per plant.
One thing I noted also is that they are all good, proper nice, crystely buds. No duds lol
Thanks for following and all the help along the way, now to plan my next one hehehehe
Just going into 3rd week of curing, the flavour of the Franco's Lemon Cheese is better than the Super Lemon Haze, but strength wise the Super Lemon Haze is just ridiculous. I sampled a section of one of the buds today and the high is strong for an hour or so then the euphonic Haze lasts a very long time after. Bear in mind I live in Europe and put tobacco in my joints lol. So unbelievably happy with this grow. Other than some problems germinating the seeds the rest of the grow has by all accounts been flawless. Thanks as always to the farm fam for all your help and insights.
Getting on to planning my next one, going to have to think about timing as summer is coming soon and don't want to be tied to the house. I am going to try and make some slow cannabis oil using vegetable Glycerin. If anyone has any tips on that it would be greatly appreciated. The Glycerin I purchased is the last picture.
I heard that you bake some but then put it in a jar. Fill it until the bud is just covered, then store in airtight jar, open and stir every month, adding a little more Glycerin each time, over three months. Does that sound about right?
