You're not much further north than me lattitude wise. I bet you could pull it off.

Add a potassium source, humic acid, diatomaceous earth, and some rock dust and you'll be very close to my mix. Other than a sprouted seed meal every 30 days and a bit of Recharge once a week it will be water only.

I can throw a tarp over them. I have a wood pallet fence wrapped in chicken wire to keep critters out and I plan on adding a roof eventually and makeing more of a little grow building as time goes on on

Please do your research before getting into PGRs. Hundreds of thousands used Mammoth P and spoke of it from the rooftops, but these same types would often put PGRs down. Fast forward a few years and it was always all PGRs in the formula, not a single percent improvement was able to be shown from that particular microbe blend alone. Likely also a statement on the abundance of P in our systems for cultivating cannabis in there.

In the west PGRs are defined as anything that modulates the plant's growth, making all phytohormones regardless of source de facto PGRs under places like the US's EPA. Typically you'll see the lack of growth claims on these bottles but there are plenty going under the radar/skirting being classified.

There is nothing wrong with steering with hormones if done in proper ratios and done in intermittent, discrete applications with you closing your loop and recovering excess. DM me if you want to talk about hormone ratios or recovery methods. For a public facing comment, I can say that this is the reason I recommended GrowWithGrease. Not only do they represent the current fringes of the forefront of living web/trichome science but they are pretty much the categorical leader in steering with hormones, although that is my interpretation and I am sure they cannot legally say as such due to the broad definition of the EPA which regulates them, presuming they made such a claim which they do not.

Mammoth P is not PGR its PGPMs, which they can produce some PGR but thats not their job and PGR are not in the formula. Their job is to process nutrients for the plants, it just so happens that some of them release phytohormones. Im with you with the using too much is bad, like with anything else. You dont wanna be hormonating your plant every watering unless its very diluted, usually bottles tell you how much and how often to use without problems. Cant speak for mammoth, Ive seen them around but never tried it but I use concentrated cold pressed kelp extract once per month. Could be the case that some sellers dont care and tell you to use it so often that you will start seeing problems but that has not happened to me yet.

As I said that one is an example, that one is for the first 3 weeks of veg which could indicate that they increased the auxin ratio so the plant roots faster. Search for one that is not exclusively for veg and use once per month or so.

Kelp is always a good addition. It has many benefits but I don't think it's necessarily a good stand alone source of potassium. You'll also need a sulfur source for cannabinoid and terpene synthesis.

As @ATLien415 mentioned a couple of good microbial inoculant products. Bokashi is a good source of PGPRs. I like All Seasons Bokashi. One product that I've used for a few years is a sister product of Great White. It's made by the same company. They just boosted it with seaweed extract and humic acids. You can get it in small packets at Walmart for under $5. I first bought it on a lark a few years ago. I've used it alongside other popular stuff and it always seems to outperform. Just mix it in water at half strength mixed with some molasses twice a month. That's usually enough. I like to let it brew overnight to get a good start on microbial growth. This year I'm premixing it in my soil to see how that works. Along with the LABs and Rhodobacter in the Bokashi it should be interesting.

When you have a healthy, thriving rhizobiome, you have a very efficient system setup. Water and nutrient needs are reduced. TBH any decent product is worth the investment.

Youre right, by itself it helps with potassium but its not gonna get to a ratio where its on pair with N and P with his ammendments. I use way too many probably, so in the end NPK balances out but the most K ammendment heavy that I use is palm tree ash. I also supplement potassium silicate but since you cant use much I dont think that counts.
EDIT: eveything I use in my peat soil:
Extra perlite, coco coir, vermiculite, arlite, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, neem meal, dolomite lime, phosphoric rock dust, volcanic ash, worm castings, bat guano, palm tree ash, biochar. The epsonite I add with watering, I dont like adding it to the soil because its water soluble so its not gonna last long anyway and you can easily put too much.
I should also mention that I use both ammendments and organic liquids. With liquids I can push to the max because I can see the results in a couple of days or less, with only ammendments its a pain in the ass since you need to wait more to see the effects so youre losing time. (Talking about pushing them in flower to get better buds, for veg I dont use liquids, only an N booster with aminos because thats what I lack the most with my ammendments and I refuse to use blood meal).
