All you need are plant yo-yo's. They're basically a hook on some fishing on a retractable spindle that pulls the line in as the plant grows to keep tension and hold branches upright. I use them like crazy. I just attach them to my light hangers and pull the hook down to the branch that needs support.

Of course, staking is very important and should be started during veg to help train all the branches upright.

Attached a couple of pics of the plant yo-yo's, they cost about a buck each.

Melvan,
I think you had mentioned the yo-yos earlier in the thread but I didn't understand what you meant. I thought you were talking about the light hanging yoyos and it didn't seem to make sense. Makes sense now. Thanks for the pics.
So where didja score those units? I'll try them next time.
I'm gonna try to take and smuggle a pic tomorrow if I can so y'all can see why I've been looking for help. Frickin hedges. Hey..I just got another idea..borrow the neighbor's hedge trimmers and carve-up some cool shapes.
thanks again

trillus netting and plant yo yos with stopser. Tomato cages. Plant poles and take a string and run around each corner plant pole. Use all them together and on one another.

Pipe cleaners to to hold the branch softly together. Can reuse to clean your pipes....

Wow hb...your wife must HATE you. She must be wondering why all her vases and urns are empty.

Pipe cleaners hey? They still MAKE those things?? Great idea though..nice and fluffy for the plants and the plants can bend the wires in the pipe cleaners gently if they aren't too tight.

Funny how the simplest things can make a guy look so stupid. Why not use sticks, strings and pipe cleaners?? BECAUSE...I try to do things the HARD way all the time.
My fuckin hands are sliced to shreds. I look like I got into a fight with 12 angry cats. I even had gloves at the ready to deal with this wire stuff but it was going so smoothly I didn't need to put them on. about half way into the second "cage" these red beads of blood started to appear all over my hands. I felt like that dog from Bugs Bunny. Was waiting for cubes to start falling off myself when I was done.

Thanks again again everyone and keep em coming. This won't be the last time I have way too many heavy buds and branches...I hope.

lmfao WIFE you must be jokin, there is PLENTY of time for that to happen, still a pup yet lol we get packs of canes over here for like £5, i hold every top up with 1, as u can see i dont have all the space in the world but like to get in and have a look, jus find it so much easier to move them in and out of the tent, i also like a really neat canopy, i'll have 64 tops in my tent just as i intended, all lined up like corn rows lol, so are ur hands any better after the fight with the wire, im a plasterer and get stabbed by angle beads all the time so know jus how you feel lol

peace hb

p.s, got any pics of the ladies in their new homes?
