If you looked to my earlier post that vipar spectra quoted, you would see I'm referring to the no name lights that I already have as cheap lights.I agree and disagree, Viperspectra is every good as spider farmer, they have been in business longer allowing them to sell there lights at a lower cost, there not cheapo lights, if I needed a full spec light I would save money and go with Viperspectra bc there cheapo light has been on for 8 year's, but they need to make a 2 cycle board and a bloom board.

Wow, you are big fans!Have a 2 cycle 600w Viperspectra, now been running 8 year's, runs so well I was afraid it would die, nope, bought another still un boxed in case, but the light keeps chugging along nicely grow after grow after grow!!!
We should observe plant's reaction and adjust the light or other factor accordingly. And using some data as a proper reference.In all honesty, I couldn't tell ya. I don't have a Lux meter, nor would I count on a phone app for it.
What I do count on, is how / what the plants are doing. Ultimately they tell a better story than a bunch of numbers
Thank you very much for your great support!I’ve been using Viparspectra LED’s for six years- started with 250’s, then added a few 450’s, upgraded all of those in the last couple of years to xs2000’s. Saved some of my older ones in case of an emergency, but haven’t had to use them. I dust and wipe them down once in a while, that’s about it. Never had a problem with any of the Viparspectra.

May you have a great harvestI bought the first one for a bit over $200 a 2 cycle 600 w, heavy at over 10lbs, I grow autoflowers with it bc it has that blue white light were a full spec light can cause an autoflower to flower early and or dwarf out, and if you want full spec it's there plus bloom, at that point after 5 years of continues use I started to get worried it would die, and you were changing the style of your lights so to be safe I bought another this time for $150 that was 3 years ago and never un boxed it, aside from wipeing it off no bulb has ever blown, you seriously need to put this 2 cycle light on a board, and you seriously need to make a bloom board until you do that your a toss up between spider farmer with there Samsung diodes! Here is your light 8 year's old and what it is still doing.

I never ran the same Led more than once before giving them away. Instead of one power cord per fixture I have to run 3. Thanks, led manufactures, my OCD loves you all.
Do led grow light manufactures grow plants? 15 years ago it was common knowledge that 6500k grew massive roots for veg. Now you can't find anything but 3500k all purpose craplights.
It was common knowledge you needed lots of red for bloom. None of these Led lights have enough red, not even close.
So we have an entire species of phosphorus deficient plants grown indoors with tiny root systems, and no one knows why?
The reason is because the light manufactures know you'll keep upgrading as these lights get closer to what they should've been and could've easily been all along.

But where's the UV? Oh it falls outside of PAR so it's useless, just like 730nm. Lol.
So proper UV@ comes in the 2025 lineup ,proper uv-b in 2026 season, by the time 730 is at acceptable levels they'll take the uv back out. It'll be 2050 before an Led grow light actually makes sense by my calculation.
These general purpose grow light manufactures have never grown plants.. Or, have intentionally produced shit lights in order to sell upgrades under a new model next year, indefinitely.
The mentality of these unpracticed manufactures tells me a decent bloom spectrum will hit the market before a decent veg spectrum. What good is a decent bloom light without massive rhizo/cytokinin dominance? It's 2023 and I have to remove my vegs lights and lower bloom lights from the rafters like WCW Sting.
Ridiculous, no one makes a panel with a veg/bloom switch, that also actually has a halfway logical spectrum.

Both have worked flawlessly and I haven't done any maintenance. I mounted 80mm fans to the heat sinks to cool the lights and disperse the heat. The fans may not be necessary, but they definitely reduce the heat significantly.
I also have an XS1000 purchased in June of 2021 that's still in the box.
