Hi all,

SweetSeeds JACK47-Sorry you couldn't see this grow from the begining as I'm new here...

The two plants were vegged for 57 days,mostly under a 400WATT MH conversion bulb...They're being flowered under a 600WATT HPS with T-5 sup sidelighting...

Flowering in 5 gallon pots with BOG style transplant...Soiless medium of Pro-mix,perlite,earthworm castings,bat guano,seabird guano,bone meal,Dolomite lime,FoxFarm PeaceOFMind 5-5-5...

Plants are looking really healthy. Gonna have some nice buds for sure.

Hey there Pender...Yep,been a while...Seen ya in HighTimes POTC...Cheers man,awesome...I remember you and Krip doing some really nice grows with the Roots Organic line...
A little freaky with these Jack47's...It's my first time running them and I was expecting sativa doms and that's just not the case...Thanks for your kind words man...

WTF? What size were they when you started flowering? They look like they are gonna be quite the yielders. Is this from seed or cut? I'll be sticking around for some harvest shots!

Thanks GDS!!!If you look at the first 2 pics at the beginning of the thread you'll see 48th day veg and 51 days vegged...At day 50 I transplanted from 2 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots with an "extreme BOG" transplant...Needless to say they just just started runnin' after that...They're from seed...

Very clean nice setup! They are looking amazing and in 5 gal's i can see why they are beefing up like they are. You are gonna have a fat yield off of those. I'm assuming that this strain is a an ak47 cross? Ak seems to add weight to anything it touches i see! Gonna have to give mine a go this round!

Awesome setup and plants, cant wait to see how they bulk up over the next couple of days!

My jack47 is round about 20 something days, but isn't putting as much weight as yours seem to be. It's fairing well though, took well to the fimming, and has multiple heads. It's just starting to get going now, and i'd say it will go 10 weeks easy, maybe 75 i'll take it. I take the black jack 79 for perfection and major swollen calyxs.

The black jack is quite like the jack47 in that it yields better when fimmed, and doesn't look the 75% sativa it is meant to be. Has quite indica looking leafs. But definatly has a cerebral high, and one of my favourite smokes i've grown. I hope the jack47 is as good. Also got their psychodelicia on the go too which is looking good. It's a clone from the US crossed with a nepalise hash plant apprently. Not sure what clone, but i've not tried a sweetseed strain i havn;t like yet. I have about 10 of their sweet afghani seeds. Love that one too.

I have a bunch of IceCool's + BlackJacks as well,but I've yet to grow these out...

Those broads are banging DTR!!! With almost 20 days minimum to go i say they are gonna super fat in the coming weeks! What are the smells like? I havent heard of this strain but she looks good.

What type of flourescent fixture are you using for sidelighting? I wouldnt mind giving that a try myself.

I can't put my finger on a flavor of smell yet but at times it's a raise the eyebrows reek...A musky,spicey smell of weed and wet socks,lol...

The sup lighting consists of two 4' SunBlaze T-5 systems...They're 4 bulb systems but I'm only using 2 bulbs in each as it's easier for me to keep proper temps...Hung vertically,there great for penetrating the canopy and also make an excellent reflective wall surface with a HPS in between them...

I had the chance to smoke a jack x ak-47 from a local grower and oh man it was spicy tasting goodness completly loved it

Cool John.D...Of course I hear great smoke reports on Jack Herer and AK47,but you're the first person I've heard from who has smoked Jack47...

Whats the score with transplanting by leaving on top of the soil? Looks to work well,I've never seen it done before and i've got some nearly ready to transplant
