To go with the Pink Runtz clones, the White Runtz clones and the Fire OG clones I popped 3 more White Runtz bag seeds, 1 Wedding Pie bag seed, 3 Wedding Cake fem seeds, 3 Vanilla Kush fem seeds and 3 Blue Gelato 41 fem seeds.

New to scrog but it is filling in. Will be flipping these as soon as I get them healthy enough. Trying to dial in there feeding and get rid of the purple streaks in the stalks and petioles, they’re just hungry. Will have them caught up soon.

White Runtz bag seed I’ve been watching since sprout. It grew three false leaves instead of two on the first two nodes and earlier in the week an auxiliary node started rapidly growing and is half the size of the plant while the other auxiliary buds are barely peeking out of their nodes. Gotta come up with a name for this monstrosity.

Top dressed the scrog today with DTE Fish Bone Meal to hopefully get rid of the purple streaks on the stalks and petioles.

Took two small cuttings from the White Runtz & one cutting from the Grape Biscotti Sundae. I’ll let them soak in plain water for 24 hrs and then transplant them into solo’s to begin the rooting process.

During my first indoor soil grow the n, p & k deficiencies really caught me off guard. In my supersoil mix I unknowingly used promix with no amendments in it instead of a higher quality amended soil as my base. At the time of the deficiencies I had all the dry amendments I needed to stop the problem from even being a problem, only thing is I didn’t know how to use them. Yeah, I’d mixed 120 gallons of soil but there’s a difference in following a recipe and knowing how to properly use them. I was coming from rdwc and all my knowledge was water related with bottles, so I did what I knew best and took a two hour drive to my closest hydro shop and grabbed a bottle of biothrive bloom to finished out the grow.
This grow will be different. I could’ve just top dressed with fresh soil, but I’m using the dry amendments that I have. This White Runtz I one of three that I haven’t sexed yet.

Worked overnight in the garden to get these ladies (and hopefully no gents) tied down for their first LST session. Had a few that weren’t quite ready, so I’ll give them another week or two. Other than that things are sailing along.

I love alfalfa and kelp, they are my fav, coot has a recipie that i love thats dry kelp and falfa tea, bubbles for 24-34 hrs. i hook it up with the recipe if your interested

Thanks for joining in brother, glad you could make it. I definitely love the alfalfa also. Hadn’t used the kelp besides adding it to cook in my supersoil recipe. Do you foliar with it also ? I’ve read great things about it. One thing in particular is how well it’s supposed to work with humic acid. Kelp meal is definitely on the top dress menu later on.
Yes I’d love the recipe though, would love to look over it and give it a try. All help is appreciated!

recipie is as follows;
2 cups Alfalfa meal per 4 gal
2 tbs hydrated kelp paste per gal
And if your really feeling excitable you can put a TBS of molasses per gallon but its not really needed.
Bubble for 32-48hrs and then top off with a bit of Humic acid

I totally use a 50% diluted with added silica for a foliar feed, and they go bananas!! The silica i use is Agsil 16 from KIS its soluble in water and much cheaper than any over the counter silica products. To hydrate your kelp meal simply soak 1/4 cup of kelp meal with 3/4 cups of water over night, and then toss it into the blender that puree it. Store in a mason Jar in the coolest corner of your fridge and dont use if it doesn't smell good. You usually get a month before it turns.
Alfalfa and kelp are both Bio Dynamic accumulators, meaning that not only do they contain many minerals and nutrients but they carry them in a bio available form. Sea water contains trace amounts of everything, so therefore so will your kelp meal.

Around the beginning of end of June/ beginning of July I ordered more seeds. This time I went with Cannarado Genetics solely because of this strain I’d smoked called Sundae Driver. Great smoke and I had to have it growing in my garden. I searched a found that it only was available in Reg seeds and were $110. Still I had to have them. So with them I ordered another pack of Reg seeds for $110. These were Grape Biscotti Sundae and are a cross between Grape Pie and Sundae Driver. The order also came with a few freebies.

Having another chance to collect pollen excites me! I remember when my first grow herm’d and I was swimming pollen sacs. I’d go in the grow each day picking nut sacs off the plants, pollen falling all over the place and I’m even examining it in my hand.

I didn’t collect any because I thought the reason they herm’d was genetics. But I later realized my temp & humidity controllers were left uncovered and the red numbers a few inches away from the plants during the dark cycle was all they needed to flip out on me. This time I’ll be prepared! So into the water they went.
Long story short, I had nothing but problems with those seeds. Some wouldn’t sink, those that sunk and made it to the paper towel, struggled to produce a tap root and when they did and got planted they didn’t have enough energy to push through the soil. Out of the twelve Sundae Drivers I got one seed to sprout. So, I was kinda heated about that and decided to contact Cannarado Genetics by phone to see if I could get another pack of the sundae drivers because this was the only reason I placed the order. They understood and by August 18, 2020 I was opening new seeds from Cannarado Genetics about to take another stab at the Drivers. Only thing was there wasn’t any Sundae Drivers with this order. I immediately go to their website and they’re OUT OF STOCK! OMG!! Sundae Drivers were gone and were replaced with Hot Tamales. I was sick! I really wanted those seeds, but life goes on.

We both struggled but I nurtured that little seedling and made sure it grew because regardless of what it was, I WAS KEEPING IT!

It grew and after a few weeks I transplanted it into a 1gal fabric pot with Miracle Grow Organics as a lighter base before going into supersoil after it grew a little.
Somewhere along the way I topped, but it was too early and I stunted it’s growt, next in an attempt to get more light to the lowers I removed all the upper fans and during the day threw it outside with a few others I had flowering under the sun.

I will say that it’s definitely proved it’s a keeper. The overall genetics weren’t strong from the beginning so that was already a strike against it. I wasn’t where I am now as a grower and made some poor choices, numerous times lol. Then comes the mite infestation that almost took everything out, but through it all the Sundae Driver endured. Pic below is during the mite infestation and N toxicity. Chlorine toxicity would be next because when I sterilized the grow I used a 100% bleach solution that I only wiped out instead of spraying with a hose like I eventually did.
