Week 2 of flower day 11 since flip, my room is getting to around 100 degrees an hour or 2 before lights out (presumably due to the dehumidifier)

This only lasts the hour or 2 until lights out then returns to normal. (86° down to 78 then a steady increase after lights come back on.

Am I in trouble or will the plants manage through this?

Your dehumidifier isn't responsible for the temperature getting to 100......the heat is. And 86 isn't normal......it might be usual. ;)

You need to get your overall temps down.

I don't know if you're familiar with VPD, which is a measure of how the combination of heat and humidity, with canopy/leaf temps taken into consideration, affects transpiration and affects plant performamce, day and night. Higher temps can be ok........if the humidity is right. I tend to like lower temps......but the humidity needs to be right. If you're not familiar with VPD, check it out, you don't have to get into the exact formula, or drive yourself crazy trying to keep it at some perfect level. Just get the concept, and plunk in some numbers to see where you're at.

Do you have some plants pics, maybevsome more info about your setup?

It jumps to the 100 within the last 2 hours of lights on period, but it’s typically at 84° and 45% RH

leaf serrations starting curling up, they can already feel it tho.. next in some days or maybe a week they gonna start frying.
Turn AC power up, and I would get a better AC running for next grow, more BTUs split unit will save you next summers

how many watts of true power, witch kind of lights and what AC unit you using (type and BTU)?

None of the leaves are pointing up or curling other than the ones that touch the door of the closet. The only sign of heat in there is from my monitor, nothing from the plants which is why it had went unnoticed. I’m growing Gorilla Glue #4 and Banana OG. Will def look into AC but never had any temperature issues until I got the dehumidifier so I’m pretty sure that’s the cause, just need a way to combat the heat coming from it.

Think I’ve figured it out. The dehu was blowing hot air directly into my intake

150w no need for AC tho
if you look closely one of your photos show clearly the serrated edges of a leaf starting to curl up, this is heat/light stress start.

Can you circle it? I’m not seeing it, all leaves are laying flat and seem happy. The only serrated edges I see that are slightly raised are on new growth

Glad you may have found a way to bring the temps down! Looking forward to an update.

So looks like I’ve managed to keep average temp down throughout the day, a decent improvement, have had an avg of around 87° at 48RH

Are you running lights in the daytime? I have been battling the heat as well in my tent but I'm running at night and it has been manageable. I'm in the desert near Victorville. In a 4x4 in my garage, lights go off at 9:00 am. When I get up around 7:00 am I open the tent and run a fan blowing in to cool it down before the lights turn off so it stays fairly cool during the day with lights off. Usually it will be around 80 deg at 40% RH. Also runs about that or a little higher during lights on at night. Week 5 of flower and my VPD is around 2.00 most of the time. It's a Sativa and it's loving it.

Hey DonnyO!

I’ve got it under control now thankfully and have had it at 80° for over a week now. Thank you though I was considering that as an option before I found a solution!

For anyone with the same kind of set up, my issue was the location of the exhaust outlet and my inlet. I had the exhaust running out of the bottom of my room and the air coming in through the top which wasn’t doing what I needed it to. I am now running my exhaust from the top of the room and the air comes in through the bottom, creating better airflow all round and also helping to remove heat from equipment as heat rises and then gets sucked out. This completely changed my heat and humidity in the room and it keeps steady even through the night with only a 4-5° variance, telling me I have a much more efficient environment now.

Have had a much better vpd since and am looking forward to watching the girls mature.

I’ll post some pics later, today is day 21 and I plan to do a little defol now that stretch is definitely over.
