Tents

Just how important are tents..I bought 2 4x8sun hut ones and was going to put my trays in them however there is a more secure room in my house..I'd rather use that room, but the tents wont fit right in there..Should I just go without the tents?If so how should I prepare the room it's concrete floors with drywall walls..

Yes for real..I have no clue that tents help to what degree, so is it worth it to skip the tents and a less hidden growroom without them?Easy question why a smartass why not helpfull and I looked through the search engine for hours and didnt find this exact question?
