how do you guys think my canopy coverage will hold up?
is 7 feet too wide?
7' is a little wide but i think it will work, buds might be a little less dense on the edges but they wouldnt be there at all if you went 4 or 5'.Orient them so the widest part of the spread is side to side,i think the PLs are like the gavitas and have like a 4x5 spread but you can stretch it with cross lighting,Good Luck!
Since the light spreads more perpendicular to the arc tube and you’re asking it to cover a 7’ width I’d line the bulbs up end to end( spaced evenly). 7’ is a definite stretch especially with just one row of lights there’s little to no cross lighting which is where the de fixtures with a little hood really excel. PL has a bunch of different hood options you might wanna switch em out. Another thing u could do is put the outside row of plants on 1’ risers or benches to create a lil half pipe stadium type deal. Or grow taller strains on the outskirts
