When do you take them? I can imagine flower being a rough time to try and root and revert.I'll often just root smaller ones direct into a coco perlite soiless mix in a tray with a dome lid too. Getting a little bit of real sunlight on them also massively enhances rooting potential this way too. The only ones I lost from this tray got cooked when I left it outside one afternoon like a dingus
This was this morning : )thats just the lazyman's way of cloning lmao. As long as you get some real sunlight on them and don't keep them under artificial light pretty much every cutting you take will root this way. I usually still take two or three, but it's rare I don't end up with extra plants. if you start to get any slimes or anything on the stems, just h202 dip them, and move them into fresh, clean water
yea i dont take cuttings in flower if I can avoid it, i have during stretch, and they root and revert but they go real wonky for a while, and you end up having to re clone them anyway. Taking a clone after the stretch is very hit and miss because the stems hardened and plants will no longer form scar tissues very well. When do you take them? I hope Santa brings you another shed for Christmas. This was this morning : ) View attachment 2434696
That video is great. On outdoor plants, ill take clones in june if i want to bring them inside.
Cuttings from near the bottom of the plant will root a little quicker, but your genetics drift more over time/with each successive generation.
heres a video i made for someone else yesterday on how i prefer to keep my cloned lineages around. It helps preserve their genetic vitality over time, so to speak. Yield, profiles, physical expression etc. I know it may not apply to your plants now but it's definitely useful information for you moving forward.
This is how I keep so many clone lineages around with so little space, no permanent clone mother's, and without having to worry about their expressions drifting over time

Pretty sure I’m on that naughty list for everI hope Santa brings you another shed for Christmas.
It’s always cool when the reality sets in that they’re going to grow at some point.Pretty sure I’m on that naughty list for everyeah I’m not sure what im doing here lol! Good example of “weed math”
Omg I’m trash at it too. Famous for taking tiny cuts cuz I don’t wanna hurt my plant that just die after 36 hours hahaCloning. Another growing skill I lack in. My success rate blows like none’s other.

That little 100w sf1000 will straight up smoke your plant before you can! Hahaha! Not sure if that’s the 100 you’re using but I believe 100watts is just enough to get a decent strain to a decent finish!Liberty Haze has been busy. She’s stacking flowers nicely. She’s using a 100 watt panel right now. Not the strongest but perfect for the space.

This one is made by GeryLove. Picked it up on Amazon for $30.00. It’s built incredibly well and runs pretty cool. I’d buy another just to have around. That little 100w sf1000 will straight up smoke your plant before you can! Hahaha! you could technically flower out an entire 32x32 tent under a single 100w panel if its decent, and expect a qtr to half lb if ya got good yielders, a nice even canopy, and theyre trained out well. That little 100w sf1000 will straight up smoke your plant before you can!
