When I was a kid I wanted to be out and about at parties, festivals, shows and stuff, now I just want a peaceful place to be without unwanted stressesset and setting for sure. I’ve got to experience the out and about and that is fun but not always predictable. Durban is one of my faves. I made a durban cross with a small plant last year, and the seeded bud was really good. But i never flowered the clone, and i never popped any more, nor popped any of the cross, and i have no reason as to why. Was a haymeadow purps cross so i just called it "Purpan Durble F1" and gave it to rama i think.The Lemon Cherry Gelato is from Mendo and it’s amazing but the Durban was the best of them. I believe the original popularized mazar-sharif plants were collected by Nevil. Dont quote me, but iirc, the nevil afghan in his NL was his mazar-sharif cultivar, and that should be the NL in the haymeadow purps. Nevils NL (again, iirc) should be an afghan dominant (mazar) thai cross thing, unlike most the afghan x afghan numbered NL. And on those IIRC, the number denotes the amount of sativa in the stabilized pheno or something like that.

The Durban tasted earthy and hashy, looked liked bombed out garbage, and hit with a heavy old school high that lasted a long time. That was a good one.Some of these seed vendors will call a strain, Durban poison, but it is across between Durban poison, and say, skunk number one! To make it more palatable for the modern grower! I’ve seen that a few times! Sometimes the land race version is a little too wild and unpredictable! But some are straight up!
HahahaI feel very hungry today. After the Durban my a** went straight for the kitchen. Not one but two pints of Ben & Jerry’s met their fate last night. Getting high and forgetting about your lactose problem is a blast
