There are a few cannaphysicists on here that have help me ditch a lot of lessons I learned from old school cats back in Ohio growing up. It’s frustrating learning that you’re a dumbass. But it’s rewarding being taught the science that I failed to learn that invoked the dumbassery. That’s what makes the difference. I’ll gladly be told I’m an idiot as bluntly as needed in order to learn the right way to do something.

i go out of my way to mess with my ladies as little as humanly possible. The more stable a "fuck off" kinda situation i can create for myself with a set of plants, usually the better that run will turn out.

@Grownsince95 has a quote in his signature i think sums it up perfectly.

"Far more plants are killed by love than neglect"

I tripped on the tent and fell on the special queen and m86. Does that count as messing with them?

if you get the sun directly between those 4 corner lines, no clouds or anything, when sun is at its apex, youll read more like 4,500-6000 ppfd lmao.

You get about 1500-2000 ppdf when its overcast outside at low elevations in mid day lol. Mid day, when its sunny, where you are, your outdoor gals are prob seeing more like "over 5000ppfd"

High elevation closer to the equator, you can see like 7000 ppfd during that short mid-day period lol. (Such as where the columbian sativas came from )

Hence the higher elevation landrace strains being typically known for higher resin content, aka sunscreen.

I took this earlier in the week, under a partially overcast, hazey sky at just before 10am. 3 1/2 hours before the sun was even at apex.and I couldn't even see to get the sun mid lense. It would probably read 300-500 higher if I did.

Can't find the one I took a couple months ago, but I took one at 12:30 p.m., on a totally clear sky, about 2,500 foot above sea level, with the sun directly in the center of the four corner lines, and I read 5,500 ppfd lol

Such is true. There was an article 10 years ago or so in High Times titled “Sensi in the Sierras” and it was all about the weed grown in the Tahoe / Heavenly area. The sun up there is unreal compared to the sun in the Lower Sierras.

The Columbians may not be the highest THC plants around, but their resin content is definitely off the scale most of the time, especially outdoors

I think it's very safe to say the Oaxaca and michoacan are probably *very* legit.

This lovely Oaxaca lady is already over 6ft tall. Everything about her checks out as a pure Mexican sativa land race zero hybridization. Zero reveg confusion, true pure sativa.

Popping some more to find a male. I'm planning on seeding this entire female to preserve thousands of pure Oaxaca. Next season I'll be doing the same with michoacan.

Keeping pure stocks of the true land races is top priority with these.

Unfortunately I've only been able to preserve self pollinated s1s of the pure Columbian. I still need a true Columbian male, and that is proving very difficult to find. And I only have limited Columbian s1s left so I won't be sharing any more of those until I find a male.

P.s. I thought I was editing this into my own journal. M'bad

@TheGoldenRoad i had a stretch last summer, end of may into june, saw temps 95-103 every day with RH under 40% for over a week straight, i had to carry lots of water, but there was one set of plants that never even slowed down, never even flinched, if anything, they thrived in it as well as they thrived through the hurricane with over a foot of rain in october.
