Don’t jump the gun. It’s tempting but think about the end result.I almost went home with the Costco shed today

So you never need an air conditioner in there? Fucking California man...Guess it’s time for the inside tour. Like I posted right before this, I didn’t want the hassle of making webs with extension cords so I got an extension cord and drilled a hole. I cut one end of the cord and wired it to a receptacle just as you would in a house. I added one more outlet to the mix and minus the heater I’m at a 7.1 amp draw on a 15 amp GFCI protected supply outlet. All electronics are on surge protectors as well. Still doesn’t stop me from touching cables daily.

The exhaust fan is a Vivosun and it’s been gravy so far. Nearing the end of its service life now and the summer replacement will be a 6” with straight ducting in lieu of flex vent. This model is a 4”.
The shed is an “L” shape which creates air circulation challenges at low velocity. The Mylar sheeting on the walls has helped aerodynamics immensely and I’ll have to figure that part out all over again once it comes down and the walls are whitewashed.

On the open side, there is an old 50’s or 60’s bar that I use as the workbench. I still keep one window functional.

There is not currently an intake system since the ridge vents at the top of the shed are still in tact. Those vents will be sealed with foil tape and a forced-air intake will go in after this cycle during the summer break.
I just started using it in the fall so not yet. But it will have one.So you never need an air conditioner in there? Fucking California man...
I was counting on a strong back! Shit...Interesting! Geothermal cooling! kind of depends on how long the air is in the cool zone! That’s an awful lot of work and expense to not be sure before you started! Good luck! You must have some heavy machinery at your disposal! Or a strong back!![]()
Looks like a good idea to me, depending on time of the year. If you are drawing air from outside thats 80° I don't see ot cooling to 55° by the time it enters your growroom
As long as it's just just sweat equity I don't mind spending the moneyProbably just wants to get it down to 70! I don’t know if that short of run can do it! Just speaking for myself, I think that is trencher material!
Oh shit like this? How about some wind turbine action AND solar power, then hook that shit up to a mini A/C unit. No dirt moving......all above ground work (sweat equity), save your back, neck and shoulders!!!
SBPKMARSCT Wind Turbine, 500W 42.65ft/s Vertical Axis Wind Turbine Generator Home Windmill Kit Hybrid Wind System with Controller for Home, Business, Industrial Energy Supply (500W 12V White) https://a.co/d/hAkUxC9I can't open that!?
Says it produces up to 500 W max! For 175 bucks! Don’t think it will quite cut the mustard! Probably OK for charging up some batteries!I can't open that!?
