TGR’s High Elevation Grow Journey

Yeah, I saw that! It’s the new gold rush! I am really happy for any of the salton sea denizens that managed to make out on that! That’s a hard-core bunch out there and they deserve a break!😍 that area has been a victim of the water grab of the LA basin for...

That’s a hard-core bunch out there and they deserve a break! that area has been a victim of the water grab of the LA basin for a long time! I hope they get the last laugh! I still can’t stand tilapia! used to Dove hunt out in niland! Watch the tracers going down range at night at the chocolate Mountain gunnery range!

It’s bad enough that their water supply was cut off. I hope they do catch a break. Hard life out on those shores.

That’s a hot winter. It’s way too early to start seeing temps that high.

I do have to say that @Captspaulding Cali Blues is a pretty high elevation tolerant plant. Both gals have been in the Space Lab through some mountain weather and haven’t missed a beat.

Had to top the bigger NL. It’s angry as always but growing still. The smaller of the two is doing well.

Seriously! He makes them as tough as they are clowny! (I dont know what means) other than yes, they are very tough! LOL. i was thinking about it, and how his climates aren’t always the friendliest so naturally ill bet most of them are going to be hardy! also how he feeds and Im sure selects the hardiest of the ones that can take the nitro fuel abuse!

I get a bit of nitrogen claw and I can see spots where we are at max rpm’s but you gotta trust the process. Greenleaf flowers hard…

I put the Gaia in all my cali blue pots. Until i let them get a little too dry i hadn’t noticed the tip curl (im thinking it’s a PH thing/swing). But check this theory out! : ) the Gaia takes a minute to become available to the plant so maybe its just hitting now and the plants are like “hmmm ok, i think im going to like this” hahahaha! I just watered two days ago so I’ll know in a couple more waterings if I’ve been a little heavy handed on the Gaia or not.
Also I have given them mega 1 part with cal mag and sea kelp, not a lot and i think they’ve only got two of those? I’d have to check.

Either way im stoked to have a plant i cant harm due to my inability in many things grow room the damn things are tanks! and so far im like 80% females! love those ladies!

Hopefully this finds everyone well on this Tuesday. Nothing particularly exciting happening other than getting ready to light the fireplace. Looks like our winter storm is about 10 miles out or so. Hopefully we get a good dump of rain this round like last time.

I’ve been graced with an arsenal of genetics for an outdoor run so I need the rain to soften the ground to dig out a bed. @Thatoneguyyouknow_ has now complicated my life beyond words because if I didn’t have neighbors, it would look like the field of dreams here.

Update on the Liberty Haze… little s*** is happy as can be. Not too huge but the beams will start the drop to 15 on Friday. She started off rough but she’s as solid as can be. This should prove to be a good additional space to grow. Air circulation needs worked out but for now it works.

I’m an Indica lover. Not to say I don’t enjoy a good Sativa but I’m all about as pure of an Indica as I can grow. But after looking at this closet, this is going to be a good place to grow Sativa dominant plants.

I’m not sure what that meant! But it didn’t sound too promising! I’m a little slow!
