Well after the poor yield from the 1st run due to incorrect techniques.

The extractor fan Failure on the 2nd grow.

Time for a 3rd small grow.
Seeds used are gorilla auto & auto Jack herer
The 2 seeds gemanated in around 24hrs using paper towels and 2 plates method, using a DIY heating pad attached to a thermo electric relay switch set at 23c and that kept the temperature between the plates around 21-22c

While these were germinating and doing there thing I rinsed the coco with tap water and mixed in the perlite to a 30/70 ratio then flushed 3ltrs of a&b 1ml & 3ml rhizotonic per litre through both pots at a ec of 998.

Base tap water comes out between 70-120ppm

Lighting, 150w blue CFL

Tent size W50xL50xH60cm I think it was will have to re-measure but its around that size.
Intake and out take both have pc fans attached

I've planted in the final pot size and have been spot watering when the tops look dry in the centre

Now seeds have sprouted but one's with a problem and looks like roots are coming out the leaves
And here they are in there full glory

MASSIVE pots you have those seedlings in... I highly recommend next time start them in smaller solo cups or something to develop a rootball before going into the final container. And yes, even for autos.

I start my seedlings off in a Coco pot, then when big enough and the roots are growing through the little pot , I then just plant the whole thing in final pot. On the pic you can just see the small pot. These are royal gorilla, at 3 weeks, from the same company as your using.

Nice something to bench mark for, I just thought it was popular belief to go straight to final pot to avoid transplant stress, will keep in mind for next time if I make it threw this one and try small pot with 90% of the plastic cut away and placed inside another pot till ready for big pot.

Thanks.

14 days since sprout not looking to bad Jack looks a little sad.

Feeding at 1ml per litre of a&b and 2ml of Rhizotonic per litre
Ph 5.8~6.0
EC between 800-950 depending on what comes out of the tap as that fluctuates regularly by about 100 EC Also just put them Under 250w HPS
Gorilla auto
Jack auto

Day 21 since sprout
Started to have deficiency symptoms mid week don't think the 1ml a & B cut it gradually upped to 2ml now showing signs of burn so going to back off a little, still under 250w HPS and jacks starting to show signs of sex

Feeds now at 2ml A & B an 1ml of Rhizotonic & canazyme per litre, but going to drop off a&b to 1.8ml

Royal gorilla auto

Jack herer

New growth on Jack looks alright except slight tip burn.

Oh yea , i recognize your "el diablo" devil horn seedlings

I keep telling everyone to offer pics in natural white light , it would be eaiser for others to offer help if they can see the plants in natural light , seriously.....

I have been growing autos 9 years continually a tip, when running autos run one strain at a time, this will make life much easyer bc different strains grow at different rates, if you have tall plants u will have to raise light the smaller strains will suffer for it, just a bit of advice to make life better. Good Luck.

Hi,
Well I thought I'd do Abit of diy today with them being on 18hrs of light throughout there life I'd struggle to fit in multiple irrigations per day so decided to try build something with a raspberry pi, but could be built with some other cheaper micro computer. As space is an issue I use a 7 ltr reservoir for this project

Using an existing pump out of a old water cooling system for a pc and relay switch. I made a irrigation system just not quite finished yet as awaiting parts, but the foundations there.

With a few lines of python for the switch to come on for a set duration and then that could be added to Cron to schedule it to run on the raspberry pi at set times during the day.

Python:
import RPi.GPIO as GPIO
import time
 channel = 21
# GPIO setup                                 GPIO.setmode(GPIO.BCM)
GPIO.setup(channel, GPIO.OUT)
def motor_on(pin):
        GPIO.output(pin, GPIO.HIGH) #Turn mo$
def motor_off(pin):                                  GPIO.output(pin, GPIO.LOW) # Turn mo$
if __name__ == '__main__':
    try:
        motor_on(channel)
        time.sleep(2)
        motor_off(channel)
        time.sleep(1)
        GPIO.cleanup()
    except KeyboardInterrupt:
        GPIO.cleanup()
exit()

Will update once finished just waiting on tubing and air pump

Day 28.
The d.i.y irrigation setup has been put on hold there wasn't enough pressure from the pump to run the sprinklers and they just drizzled water instead.

The jacks being Abit of a weird one this grow she seems easily upset to put it. I've introduced calmag to feeds and reduced a & B back down to 1.5ml per litre as was feeding at 2ml per litre then Jack started yellow tips so reduced back to 1.5ml the tips don't seem as bad on the new growth. Gorilla been quite easy just the deficiencys earlier seem to have resolved with calmag

1.5ml canna A & B
1ml canna rhizotonic
1ml canna canazyme
0.5ml vitalink calmag

Both are about 40cm tall they've not been long lights on so look a little droopy

Gorilla auto

Day 36
Had more problems with nutrient deficiency after mixing up 20L of feed in preparation for auto irrigation and dropping feeds again to 1.5ml per litre so will put it back up as soon as I can as I don't know how much fluid is in the tub

1.5ml a & b
0.7ml calmag
0.5ml rhizotonic
1ml canazyme
Per litre

Will start adding pk13/14 in next mix

Royal gorilla seems to be in flower now but very little pistils forming? Also roots forming above ground

Week 8
I'm unable to take many pictures as they've just swamped the drobe
Not much seems to be happening from the previous weeks
I've dropped pk 13/14 and just feeding

2ml a & B per litre
1ml canazyme per litre
0.2ml rhizotonic per litre

Royal gorilla just exploded in height without all the bends in it I'd imagine its close if not more than 6ft tall

They look excellent, I'm growing the same, mine really stretched out, and I did some LST and really took the tent, glad I only grew one.

Wish I only popped one too, thought they'd stay small with them being autos the jack herer is doing alright didn't shoot up as high so I had to prop Jack back up with empty pots and put lights as high as I could

Royal gorilla looks like a guitar with all the LST
