The wifi is only 2.4 ghz so if you have an advanced router, you can only use bluetooth in your house.Hello,
I'm looking to get an ac Infinity controller for my new grow. I was going to get the basic one but there is a sale on the pro 79.
I guess I'm just asking if I should just get the pro. I'm just not sure how they work. I just need something to control the temp and humidity.
Are they worth it? Thanks.
That's a great point! The wifi is only 2.4 ghz so if you have an advanced router, you can only use bluetooth in your house.
I found out the hard way. The AC Infinity people explained it to me. I didn't care enough but I'd surely prefer if they added the 5ghz to the spec. That's a great point!
I wonder if future firmware updates will correct that or if it's in the hardware itself.
I've always forgot about that because I have a dual router that has 2 different signals, one for 2.4 and the other 5
I just looked up the manual for the new AI+ controller, it's only 2.4 ghz as well.I found out the hard way. The AC Infinity people explained it to me. I didn't care enough but I'd surely prefer if they added the 5ghz to the spec.
You get the fan for 10 bucks if you buy it as a package.Inline fan will be my next buy.
It should not be that hard to develop.I just looked up the manual for the new AI+ controller, it's only 2.4 ghz as well.
Hmm
Im on a 5g Eero wireless mesh network but it still works with the 2.4 ghz connection. It can be finicky at times, but it does work. (Using a controller 69 Pro and a Pro Plus). I believe some of these 5ghz systems have some degree of backward compatibility .I just looked up the manual for the new AI+ controller, it's only 2.4 ghz as well.
Hmm
They sell a power adapter but you can also use a UIS outlet.Correct me if I’m wrong but you need the fan to power the controller.
I think it's ok to have the fan off the controller. Just plug it in but don't have it aimed directly at the plants. Just keep air moving imo. They sell a power adapter but you can also use a UIS outlet.
I have lights on 1 controller using 3 ports and I have a UIS outlet to power the controller and just have it on a 24/7 off automation.
You would need a UIS adapter and a wall outlet adapter to plug into the controller 69. It wouldn't be able to adjust a dimmer if ur light has one. But will turn it off and on.Just got a AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro.....and a 4 port splitter hub. What kind of adaptor do i need to run a Viparspectra 2500 grow light??
The adapter is the "Type A PWM/0-10V" from AC Infinity. I also have an XS2500 light with a Controller 69. The controller can adjust the light level. It can also turn the light on and off, so a control plug isn't needed. A splitter isn't needed.Just got a AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro.....and a 4 port splitter hub. What kind of adaptor do i need to run a Viparspectra 2500 grow light??
Very good !! Thx.....what about a Vivosun 6" exhaust.....will i be able to use it like normal with full functions?? Will be hooking it all up soon ....just waiting on the adaptor cable for my 2500 Viparspectra lightThe adapter is the "Type A PWM/0-10V" from AC Infinity.
