I think I've had maybe one or two other strains that were very slow but I find if I give them an extra week (if I can keep them healthy that long) will eventually root; I'm having great luck right now cloning in my seed starting mix, but I don't want to jinx it..!

I am finding the Bubble Cuttings from Bubble Gum Clones root very quickly and easily but these Biker Kush are taking forever. One did root within 21 days but Ive another here that has taken about 28, maybe 30 days to root.
I can work with one or two and I shall be able to take cuttings from these clones and see if my " memory" theory holds water. If cuttings from these clones root reasonably quicker, long before 21 days I shall believe I am onti something. I believe this already but hopefully this is just an opportunity to show others there maybe some truth to this and these clones do have a memory.
I am running out of space, again. I don't really want to have to build a bigger " hutch" and I would rather keep everything within the "hutch". Ive already got Overgrow, Sandae Drivers are sitting on top of the "hutch", waiting for the Bubble Gum to rotate. The struggle is real.
I will report back, down the road, how the next generation of Biker Kush cuttings from clones preform. There is much to research and learn.

As described in the link those are only little 2-inch pots that sit in a half an inch of water I don't bother with an AirStone I change the water every 3 or 4 days and that's about it, it's working really good so far, hope that helps!

Update:
11/9

Some G.G. cuts have rooted as of Saturday, will get dirt-potted this week; these are running after the Romberry set

Mazzy Star today, 5 weeks in bloom

Unusually warm weather for the last week has stopped her from turning black, she's at a weird in-between stage LOL after Wednesday the temps going to drop and I'm going to enjoy watching her finish her fade to black -thanks for watching!

You're making me feel guilty...I haven't anything growing now. Its been a full month off from any growing responsibilities.......I'd better get back into my basement gardening sooner than later.

Nice looking plants as usual Beach

Hey bud what's up, thanks for the kind words! I've cut back a lot myself, the Romberry is going to run this winter, I'm going to try to purple it up a bit in the cold ❄ LOL

MAZZY STAR

Oddest smell to this plant that I don't recall from the one previous run, but that one didn't turn black either so..?

When I took it out to work on it it had a strong pugnant black raspberry / dark grape smell

By the time I put it back in it smelled like freshly laid hot asphalt with a hint of black licorice and roadkill

I can't get a good picture I don't know why; I had the light from the tent, a ceiling light & the camera flash so I don't know I'm starting to think the potato camera is the weak link..?!

Anyway I've given up on getting pictures in natural light; all pictures going forward will now be yellow I apologize in advance

Thanks, everyday she changes she keeps amazing me!

These plants are way too big for the 3-gallon hard pots there in, I happen to have three 5 gallon grow bags handy which I hate with a passion but I'm going to transplant them at some point this week regardless

Not seeing symptoms yet but they're just far too big for these pots at this point, and they've got about 2 months to go, so.. I've had runoffs under 200 PPM, they're eating everything and fast!

Even though I've never transplanted a flowering plant (I usually plan better than this) LOL I have a pretty good system in general when I transplant so I'm not expecting any noticeable shock

Nope! I've given up and I can live with that; if I can't remember to grab pictures when it's out of the tent serves me right lol

sorry to hear about your loss, good to see you back!

I kept reading on this site about "transplant shock" and I didn't understand why people were being so rough on their plants to cause shock. When I transplant they don't seem to miss a beat and are happy to have new space to grow into.....

....That was until I had to transplant very root bound plants, all coiled up around the base and not much soil all roots. I was told ( it was recommended ) to wash the roots and gently spread them apart before putting them into their new pots......So I did......

Introducing me to transplant shock...2 weeks they sat without movement..stalled ..delaying & stunting their growth ...in retrospect I should have just put them into the larger pots without busting the root ball up and not shocking the fk out of them.

Problem being I've done that before and the bound up roots don't expand into the new soil very much if the ball is too tight and wound up...Solution ..don't let them get root bound in the first place and transplant sooner than later is my new plan..lol. my best laid plans sometimes go amuck.

Exactly how I'm going to do it my friend, I'm going to gently lay her across my work table and slip her 3 gallon pot off like mi lady's high heel shoe after the Cotillion dance..

I'm not going to touch it at all I'm going to gently place it right in the new pot right on top of some Mykos and backfill it and leave it the hell alone!

One concern is its going to add some height and I'm already in a bad place for height, so I'm rethinking this.. I don't have to do anything right now so I'm holding off for now

@AnselAdams I was joking about not wanting better pictures thanks for the tip I'm going to give it a try next time I'm in the yellow light environment

Trimming all day, back at it for now

Buttoning up after watering and an odd reflection caught my eye so I grabbed tweezers and plucked off what at first I thought was an early banana

Which made no sense because this plant has been running for years, grow conditions are optimal and the plant is healthy as a horse

I was able to get a picture thru one of those little portable microscopes

Has anyone ever seen this before??

Far too early to be normal trichome ambering; After getting that picture I was able to push in all the way to full magnification and what I thought at first were Brown trichomes are really normal clear trichomes with some brown gooey substance on them

My first thought is some type of a larger flying insect may have crapped on them

But it's a clear brown gel, like hash oil, doesn't look like bug excretion but I don't know everything every bug excretes so???

Has anyone ever seen this?

Last pic looks like the plant is ready to harvest, with all the milky and amber trykes.
