I didnt know that. I got 2 400/600 ballasts half price from growers house last year.

my galaxy’s still work fine after 6 years perpetual use.

If you want to spend the money eye hortilux platinum series ballast.

Squarewave not sine wave like the rest..solis tek is a joke of a company and the owner from what ive heard is an arogant little snotty fucker! Which might be a good thing...who knows..lol

I have 3 galaxies and they are only pushing out 30,000 lumens on a 1000 watt ballast they are 3years old

I never checked mine but the solis tech burned the hortilux bulbs brighter and clearer (less red looking) and gave my best yield so far.
