Yeah its a constant job keeping these girls in check. She is an auto so no flip. The first big defol is 7 days after first signs of pistils. I like to give as much time as possible between heavy defols but I do what the plant needs. Ideally 2 weeks between the heavy sessions but Ive done it as soon as 1 week. The final heavy defol should be done at the end of the stretch period. In between the heavy sessions I'm keeping the tops cleaned up everyday. After stretch I'll continue removing any problem leaves all the way until harvest. The bounce back is crazy we end up in trimming jail
How often will you defoil from flip?
Awesome work!!Not a full schwazz but a massive amount of work on cookie monster today.

Look at the top of the colas. See the really young looking smooth edge leaves at the top. She has those scattered around the whole plant.Wait. How do you see that? I think i had a small re veg last grow too.
Ahh yes i see what you meanLook at the top of the colas. See the really young looking smooth edge leaves at the top. She has those scattered around the whole plant.
I wanted to say your buds looked really leafy didnt know if you had lots of N or what.Look at the top of the colas. See the really young looking smooth edge leaves at the top. She has those scattered around the whole plant.
They are hella leafy. I added biochar, kelp, and azomite this run but other than that it was the same as my other soil grows. The leaves are one of the reasons I gave up on her. After the bad response to the net and seeing how leafy she was I kinda just let her coast to the finish line.I wanted to say your buds looked really leafy didnt know if you had lots of N or what.
Guess it was the best decision before the plant eat up herself, your hardly grown trichomes.Fixed it. Wasn't sure about hanging it whole. I went up the stem past the first nodes and cut there. Basically I took the center out. Imagine a donut and center donut hole piece.

Trichomes are mostly milky some clear and very little amber. So it wasnt the worst time to harvest.Guess it was the best decision before the plant eat up herself, your hardly grown trichomes.
Leafy or larfy buds have more surface area for trichomes. I'll keep the very top buds for smoke and press the rest into rosin. Not the results I was hoping for but not the worst. The leafy one can still be very sticky inside if it's to much light at least.
I made one with buds looking a bit like that. Not at all bad to smoke. Very sticky.
