Figured I should do a grow log for these awesome genetics.

I have bubba s1s about two weeks into 12/12 but that was a rocky road. I hate running from seeds and usually make mom's from seeds first then run a clone off them to see what pheno it is but I was pressed for time.

Dropped 14 bubbas into a shot glass. 48 hours later all popped but one. I transfered them into rockwool. Somehow my temps dropped like crazy and 4 of the seeds were attacked by that white fuzzy rockwool mold. I was left with 9. I picked my best 8 and planted those.

Out of 8 , 2 have gone mutant on me and should prob get thrown out but I feel bad about leaving a site unused on my under current so I'm hoping the two short mutants that aren't growing will at least herm out so I can grab some pollen.

I'll poat pictures of the bubbas tonight.

In the meantime, I'm popping cornbread to mom out.

24 hours later all sank to the bottom but one

48 hours later the ones that sank now have tails.

These will go into cups of coco today

Snagged some pics in the dark with my phone to get things started

Bubba S1 #1 long leaf stem, huge fan leaf pheno

She was topped and bottom nodes stripped. She has 4 new individual shoots coming up . figured it was the best way to mimic a grow from clone

Bubba S1 #2 another long leaf stem, huge fan leaf pheno that was topped in the same fashion

Bubba S1 #3 short leaf stem with smaller fan pheno . the rest are mostly this pheno except one other long stem pheno . this was not topped

Bubba S1 #4 this girl topped herself somehow. Around the 4th node, she grew 3 fan leaves and two heads instead of one. She's super bushy because of that .

Its about day 12 of bloom and they are at .6 ec but honestly everything to me looks hungry. I'm going to pack a roor and decide if I want to bump it to .8

Lookin' sweet @FooDoo ...I can honestly say I haven't seen these Bubba S1's grown out in a hydro setup before...those fan leaves are massive in those undercurrents. The stalks look huge too in your pics.

When I cracked 20 of these S1's back in 2006/07 sadly I did not have a single herm in the bunch...no balls & no nanners...however, there's always the possibility and I'll never say never...best of luck gettin' some Bubba pollen man. ;)

Massive is an under statement lol.

As for the stalks, you're correct. They are tree trunks. I wanted to lst them away from each other and they wouldn't budge. Only way to bend those puppies is to snap them so I gave up on LST and just letting em ride

My last run had a Tahoe og from cc herm out and spewed pollen onto my Silver Kush freebie by RP. Found 15 beans in one of the colas . i've never made any seeds and honestly have zero inclination to do so however I'm pretty excited about these accidentals because my silver kush pheno is top 5 all time smoke. She's super sativa dominant and stretched to like 6 feet but I'm hoping in these seeds I'll find a better pheno .

I don't want the bubba mutant to herm. Would rather have the flowers, but if she's not going to produce any then Ill settle for some pollen lol.

I moved all the cornbread to a moist napkin between two plates because I didn't have any coco on hand.

All 14 have sprouted.

Thanks. I'm having some moments where temps go above 86 but nothing over 92. low humidity during lights on, and high humidity during lights off issues but literally everything else is perfect. I'm fixing those small issues now.

Cornbreads are in coco precharged with tap + 6/9 GH micro bloom

My other half of the room is running DH from clone. Talk about a difference in height and structure in comparison to the bubba

This was the girl who grew two heads on her own.

She wasn't topped and didn't have any fan leaves removed. Right now, if I had to choose one keeper blindly in the dark, she would be it. She has the most beautiful and uniform growth out of the 8 and not a single other one looks like her

I can already tell that #1 , #2 , and #5 are the nitrogen pig phenos that develop the claw no matter what you feed. Here's the pheno I'm thinking it is from the pictures @Nspecta posted during the drop
