I was talking with someone the other day about my "desired strains list." I think everyone has one, & I know these threads have been done before but I wanted to do something different. Also, even though those threads exist, I love to keep it current. Current members who have a "hot" list...
If you are willing to help, I know of a few members here who would benefit from from this. The strains can be from any time period, but also including the newest stuff. Since names are almost meaningless now, if you know, post the breeder.
Everyone gets to say one strain per post. It doesn't need to be militant, there is a reason for that. The effect we are looking for is this; as the post moves, more strains will be named, but some will also be forgotten. The benefit of doing things this way, is you get a collaborative effect. It's harder for worthy strains to be forgotten. & there is no limit e.g. this isn't a Top 25. It's theoretically endless.
Another benefit is you start to notice patterns, of what people like what etc.
Do it, or don't do it, but the end effect is not the same as the threads that exist. It's not a top 10, it's not a best of all time. It will look like one at times, but this is a "This one is special, give it a try" list.
While we aren't trying to make a top 10 list, the suggestions should be top notch stuff.
