I got lucky on mine. I soaked two seeds and I got two females, one of them at three weeks was such a runt that I considered throwing it away. It was probably 4 inches tall, but I went ahead and planted them both out at five weeks and 4 inch tall bloke is now just shy of 8 feet. Just absolutely exploded when it got in the soil.
I planted mine in the ground around six weeks and I wanna say it was maybe close to a foot tall and in the next 10 weeks after I planted it grew 7 feet.
The sole survivor. I’ll grow it out just to see if it’s as stealthy as I hoped. Other than that these seeds once popped and in soil just died. Most of their radicles were just curling up instead of diving down it’s as if their internal gyro was running amok. Oh well.

I know it is really nothing to hang your hat on and far from being foolproof, but sometimes it’s fun to note the stipules and see how accurate crossed and un crossed is! A little game to play!

This was last year at 8 to 10 weeks if I recall. Turned out female which is what I thought based on the preflower shape but the stips were crossed. These were the ones I got three females and one male out of four plants so I felt very fortunate and doubt my luck will slide in that direction this year.
Then this girl's weren't.

Yeah, it’s nothing you want base culling on! But if you have two unsexed plants and one spot left, and you have to make a choice, then they might come in to play!

Haven't thought that far ahead yet. Was going to put 1 in the ground but it's looking like i will have some soil left over so I might put 1 in the greenhouse in a 20 gallon pot. If so i will probably top if it starts outgrowing my 7' greenhouse.
Looks like the new growth is getting more normal! A lot of plants throw some wonky leaves the first few sets of nodes! Should grow out of it! That baby’s got a lot of growing to do!

I hope but not too much. Should top out about 7’ish if I don’t constrict the roots some and keep it in a smaller container. If it’s got them lady parts.
