Not much happening just getting coals ready for some chicken for and lovin this Nepali Highlands growth and very skinny leaves. You can already see the bamboo look starting to take shape. I did up pot Monday and I’m hoping that’s the last until I can sex it.

from, dare I say it....the Philippines. I'm thinking now that's what I got when I was there. We called it Philippine Black but it looked just like the ones Jade Nectar grew last year. And the same cool heady high.

Weed seems to enjoy a pretty worldwide distribution! Wouldn’t be surprised to find it on the Galapagos!

So I got tired of waiting for the Napalis to show sex and went ahead and transplanted today. 1 in the veggie raised bed with the watermelons and 1 in a 20 gallon pot in the greenhouse. They were starting to outgrow the 3 gallon pots and were starting to look a little hungry so I figured what the hell. Hopefully at least 1 will be female. Since all 4 of my Kandahars were male i figure the cannabis gods owe me one. also giving a living mulch of clover a try. Have used it for years in my raised beds but never in pots.

Since it’s been about 3 weeks I’ll post an update. Just getting bushier. Which I love. Still not showing sex but I’m leaning towards lady.
She/it has some interesting growth.

Well I made an executive decision. I’ll grow Nina the Nepali Semi-Dwarf in a custom made 9 gal bag 14X14.5”. I got everything ready for transplant tomorrow in the a.m. Soil is a custom mix of native sandy soil, semi-digested rabbit crap, bio char, frass, and perlite. It’s not dry and I can lift it and put it in a wagon. But I made it with four handles instead of two for sliding two lift poles if I need help to move it.

I know what you mean. Got this bag the other day, have around 100 gallons of living soil that needs reamending. I feel pretty confident that my Napali in the greenhouse is female, finally. Tried to get a pic but couldn't get it to focus. Still nothing from the 1 in the ground

Look at that internodal spacing! You might be in trouble with that one!

Got mine Xplanted this am and you can see she is not happy today. Just gonna watch her. And just give water. Tomorrow I'm gonna convert an old hand truck to move her around. Convert my ass I'm gonna add a platform to it with EMT mounting fittings. Lifting that 9 gals of watered in soil, just 12" to put in the wagon...not so easy for this old fart. I can do it but it's a struggle and to give her a good 10hrs of sunbathing I need to move her. Plus this autumn I'll need her up on the north side.

Another note @orggrwr I have zero 7 leafers...seems you do. I hope that doesn't mean anything but just for comparison sake I thought I'd pass it along.
