The project continues! Got a watering tonight, Frostette #2 is pushing new growth, I’ll remove her wrap in a few days from the Graft point. Frostette #1 looks like she’s continuing to gain stregnth and standing back up, cracked a corner and gave another spritz of clonex clone and seedling spray, keeping her sealed for another day or 2 if she continues like she I’ll I’ll cut a corner open in a few days

Mother plant is doing well overall, she’s gunna need to be cut back quicker than I thought, but until the cman x okie gets big she’s got a whole 4x4 to stretch out

Well let’s get an update out! Both scions have been accepted for sure and putting out new growth. F1 is now going unassisted and is starting to push a new node out, F2 is kicking ass and has pushed out about 4 new nodes from the graft point now and is looking as healthy as the host plant!

Evening all! Hydra is alive and well, waiting on the cman x okie to get a bit bigger and I’ll get a lower node to graft onto her

Anyways, scions did great, both growing and happy, now we wait to see the flower of both phenos!

Let’s get it goin folks!

Kahuna #3 as the rootstock mother, once rooted shell have a cut of the Frostette #6, ABO #1/#2, and Project 4516 x okie all grafted onto her to hold phenos until seed mother test runs are complete. I started this project awhile ago but paused due to plant count issue with the run I was on.

BUT WERE BACK! Let’s learn grafting and pheno storage techniques together!

Plant was put in to the kahuna 2 living soil 12 gallon pot in the spiderfarmer 3x3

The gear used in this tent will be

Soil
12 gallon bag
Promix HP
Rice Hulls
Build a Soil craft blend, big 6, Kashi blend, Horticultural Aloe
Organics Alive FPF
Alaska Fish Fertlizer (5-1-1)
And more!

Tent: Spiderfarmer white canvas 3x3
Controller: Genius grow system smart controller
Light: SE3000
Exhaust: 4” exhaust and carve on filter
Power supply: GGS AC10 power strip
Contoller accessories
GGS 4-in1 sensor pro kit (Co2/PPFD/RH/Temp/Soil Moistre /EC sensors)

Let’s goooooooo (again )

That was the intent of the topic I have a plant count but in order for me to have enough strains that I can dead on to get cuttings I can only have one mother, so I deemed her the “hydra” as explained On the first post and now we start again!

Well let’s get it rollin right?!

Frostette clone was put on yesterday, today the A&B x okie and Project 4516 x okie were both added, lazy man’s method V on the receiver and the opposite in the scion, taped up tight, modified ziplock baggies to e thin and tall and bagged each one with a soil Titus of some water with a bit of clonex clone and seedling solution in it, we’ll see how they look in a few days!

Wanted to stop off and make a morning view

The Frostette cut was grafted in a day before yesterday and left unbagged, but I bagged it yesterday when I did the other 2 grafts, all 3 of the cuts are looking good as of now

No droop on the 2 added yesterday and the Frostette cut looks like she recovered from being left unbagged

Thanks haha figured I’d start practicing so I can keep more strains around when I find ones I really like

Couple pics for the day!

Probably gunna leave em bagged for another 3 days or so then I’ll open each one and see what they look like after a soild week, I’ll keep checking for signs they are recovering, the Frostette kinda has a little pep so we’ll see

Not much movement yet still drippy, took the bags off the stems still have some stiffness and look like they are trying to take so I’ll let em go a bit more and see how they are ina few days unbagged

Backed the power down a bit more to 50% around 300ppfd at 36” and we’ll see how they do!

Well I think the A&B x Okie is taking, she’s looking better and trying to to stand up, I’d say she’s a keeper, the Project 4516 x okie is looking like she’s starting to wake up a bit, she’s rough but if she takes she’s good I’m giving her 60/40 I’m liking my odds as weird as she looks she’s still got life in her, Frostette I think I’ll have to do another cut, she’s turning brown lol

I haven’t forgotten about this project! Just been very busy on 17 other ones but I’ve been carefully babying this girl and we have 2/3 successes! The ABO and the PJ4516 x okie both are doing great, have fully healed and are growing again!

Now to grab another scion off Frostette now that I have her nice and healthy in veg over in the 4x4 I’ll try again imma flip the Frostette soon so I gotta make sure she’s backed up good first

This 3x3 setup is so nice I forget it’s over here in the corner sometimes haha

How’s everyone doing today!

Looking great, I'm really enjoying following your trials and tribulations here. I'm hoping to maybe try my first go at such things next year. We'll see...

I've just been out tending to my outdoor ladies and getting ready to transplant my late, late, late show (grow) in to her final home.

It is damn hot out there...

Went ahead and just finished doing 2 Frostette #6 grafts onto her, I need one to take so I can flip the 4x4 soon

Then I’m safe to do some trial runs on new seeds if I want

It’ll be
kahuna 3
ABO
Project 4516 x okie
Frostette

She’s a party plant

And yeah we got 4ac’s running in the house it’s 91 out atm, I’m sitting in the porch sweatin my balls off smokin a fat one haha

Thank you! I’ve seen it a few times I’m not the first by far or any means lol, but I wanted to do it, so much easier to care for a single mother with 7-8-50? Strains on it, than to have to deal with that many mothers, especially like me with a plant count, and have keepers you wanna save a bunch of

But I dedicated the whole tent to it, so I’ll probably be installing a new 4x4 in the other corner of the room or visa versa, next would be to find a cut of a male to graft on, than I’m set to breed when I want
