Monster Cropping essentially involves taking clones from flowering marijuana plants, and then rooting those clones. They will reenter vegetative state and eventually create super-bushy plants with a large amount of nodes and branches.
so I have 4 cuts in a tall glass of water they seem fine at 3 day from cut no wilting etc

what I want to try is to scrog these 4 in 20 gallons of soil I would probable get a great yield under my new 1000 watt mh.
so I am also experimenting with this rooting method I change the water twice a day and they do seem ok
no dome needed and the submerged area is 6 inches.
next update will be when the throw roots.

unfortunately I am too poor for a pump and stone but yes that would help. I hope that changing he water out regularly will be good enough. as stated this is an experiment, i am hoping the carbohydrate rich outside tissues will root fast the fact that they are flowering will complicate things as well this is going to be a challenging run but learning is fun!
I fully expect these cuts to go nuts once they do root with many many side shoots, perfect for scrog

Every flowering cut I have gotten to root never started to re veg and just grew into a mature bud and finished. I might try 24 hours of straight light next time I try rooting a flowering plant.

I take cuts off flowering plants all the time. Keep them in 24 hours light and they will revert to veg. Also, snip/pinch off all flowers as they show up.

I've got a few in flower now from a monster cropping experiment.they do get bushy,had to pull off lots of wierd growth at first.the stems are quite thin for some reason.may be my less than perfect veg space though.

i monstor crop all the time its best to take clones like this for full effect this is real monster cropping there needs to be a bud site showing
down fall it takes much longer to get plant revegging but once you get the real gist of it it does amazing things some stalk shots these are all untouched plants other then letting them reveg about 8 weeks worth under 6 weeks under T5 then 2 weeks under 600 then flip a couple out door plants and stalks from monster cropping as well enjoy these are beasts

This is not Ideal dude! Although plants do devlope more branches, the end result is smaller buds that sometimes dont seem to feel out. Ive done this on more than one ocassion, always with dissipointing results.

well, yesterday I got 3 seedlings popping up and I have decided to add 7 more bubbles f1 seeds that I test germed.I am going to let em go outside for a little bit and then move them inside once I finish the grow closet. I found an old volleyball net and that will make a great scrog screen , I also now have a vented hood for my 1000 watt light. hope to see a harvest sometime late December I can't wait to see what this variety does indoors.

day 2 veg;
well the squirrels are assholes and just have to dig in my planters and bury nuts, I have placed a sheet of glass over the new seedlings and that seems to work for now. certainly a rough start for these lil ones as they got a lil chewed up and it has been cloudy and cool. but they are hanging in there and not stretching so I have hope.

Nice I will be following along. I have about 10 seedlings started myself of which I will put the best ones outdoors. But for the first 6 weeks will be indoors and out to keep in veg.

Day 4 veg;
thanks for stopping by Islandgrows! yes I am excited to get going on this indoor project but alas I am lacking a capacitor for my 1000 watt MH light, so for now it natural sun and cold nights outside for these babies. I plan to thin the 10 or so seedlings down to 4 per container for my scrog as well the goddam squirrels keep digging up my planter assholes

I have a similar pest . Rats outside dig up the soil as well. Good luck on your grow. Will be starting a journal soon myself. So are you going to build the scrog onto your container so you can move it in one piece?

Yes and no this is where a person really needs to dig deep into the canopy and get rid of sucker buds
also many forget that when there are shit load more of fruits on the plant , the plants needs are different then what one would be accustomed to

day 5 veg;
yes, squirels are assholes. but I made a transparent barrier that is working for now, the nighttime temps are in the upper 40's now and these kids are doing ok till I get my cap. A couple more have come up and now the pheno hunt starts.
I am going to assume that the f1 seeds will be very consistent and hopefully bomb as well.

day 6 veg;
well there popping all over the place I should be able to thin them out to 4 healthy seedlings per pot.
the other pot is acting right now as a squirrel distraction but I have 3, 7 year old bubble gum seeds and 4 critically smashed seeds germing ready to plant asap.I need a capacitor something fierce now
