Please forgive me as I only have about 1.8 grows under my belt but I dont quite understand. If im correct, you add the correct amount of nutrients to the water in the correct order and mix after adding each one. The nutrients you use are (if im correct) are supposed to self regulate the PH and then you use it. No need to check it. And even if you wanted to you could not with that meter in the solution you just mixed as it is for plunging into the soil only and not into a solution. Did you mix the PH down with the solution? If not how did you apply it? How did you know how much to use?

ok then here you go. the humidity spiked in a closed tent causing a fungal infection probably. you said their stems were slimy, sounds like they rotted.

I suspect you used too much ph minus ? A death that quick is poisoning IME .
Test the water that comes from your pot after watering for pH.
Most soils will have what is needed to handle 'normal ' water without issue.
I don't pH my water but started out of fear once !

It had to have something to do with the pH down. Losing power won't kill the plants and they don't look like they were in bad shape, according to the pics.

You have to check the pH of the water when you add pH down, and you can't do that with that all-in-one soil probe.

It was probably a combination of too much ph down, a sealed tent that got hot and cooked them and they may have already been a little stressed from 24 hours of light and could not pull through... I know some people swear by 24 hours, but every living thing needs a rest period to recover and repair imo. Maybe next time try 20 hours, even 22 is better than 24. I do soil and only check my ph if I have an issue to rule that out.
