Im in the third week of flowering and my leaves ( larger fans and some small ) all throught plant are starting either getting pale and then yellowing. Im using advanced micro grow bloom line and additives ,my ppm is at 950ppm,ph at 6.0, using sunshine mix number 4 advanced mix. I know without picture its hard to say I will try and get one posted soon, my room right now is off ,but i did not want to forget to post this question. any ideas , Im thinking maybe im not feeding at a high enough ppm , but im not sure,

Thanks everyone

You need to test your runnoff PH....I will bet that it is under 5.8 which will be N lockout. Have you looked into the runnoff PH yet? It should be 6.3 - 7.0 for a soil grow. Sunshine mix is Peat mostly right....which turnes acidic I beleive. If you want to grow in sunshine mix I think you need plenty of dolomite lime to buffer the PH.

If you test your runnoff and its low..(like I think it is)....then you can raise the PH quickly by watering in hydrated lime (looks like baby powder) at the rate of 2 tablespoons per gallon. This will raise the PH. Check the ph after a day...if it still needs raised do it again.

Let us know if it was the soil PH.

Ok so to check the run off, i set my nutes at the ph i want , I have been setting it at 6.0 so if i get anything but 6.0 coming out of container then i have a probelma and have to adjust my feed water to compansate for the difference ? I have been told i should set sunshine mix at 6.0 ph , one person told me 6.3 but i was then having def issues, copper spots to be exact so i then put it back to 6.0 like i did my last run ( my last run i had no issues like this ) and now im having this yellowing of leaves . I will check my run off soon, i cant do it today i have appointmet with surgen

Im not sure about the PH for sunshine mix really....If you are feeding chem nutes and not organic then I guess it would be considered drain to waste hydroponic....

Can someone with more years experiance please help us with this one please?

You should not have to use dolomite lime to adjust your ph. You have other problems! An r/o water filter will go a long way to stabilize your ph. Yellow leaves usually is a nitrogen deficiency, rusty spots is a cal/mag issue.
I feed and water at 5.8 and when I check the runoff, hardly ever do anymore, it comes out at 6.2.

I did my runoff, with a very light solution of feed set at 6.0 ph and my runoff came out at 6.3, I could not believe that it was at 6.3 so i set my feed at 5.7 to make up for the high ph. the hydro store said i was way too high and to set it to 5.7 to make up for it and i also lower my ppm to around 750 ppm and next time i wil bring it up a bit more .. I hope im on track now ..

I think you are fine. The leaves that have started to turn will not turn green again, watch for new signs of yellow. If it continues up the nitrogen slightly and see what happens.
