LOL sorry dude iv got a ridiculous amount of info to absorb and, being a noob, its hard to remember all of it lol especially when im reading half of this and replying at work usually hahaha

Just to clarify, i DONT think youre full of shit and im not ignoring what youre saying lol just putting out the other info that im unsure if youre already aware of. Like i said, greatly appreciate the feedback!

My lights a 100W LED, the aerolight from vivosun specifically if you were curious, and i have it all the way at the top of the tent at 100%. How far do you usually keep your lights? Iv tested the lumens and, while it isnt a perfect system by any means, the tests didnt show crazy high. That was a while back, maybe i should recheck.

Sorry if i seem argumentative, thats not my intention. I just know that its hard to get the full idea of whats happening through a few pictures lol

Wait so this slightly confused me lol no nitrogen then?

Ok so my flower room, I boost plants to and from the lighting instead of raising or lowering.
I run a lot of strains this is the best way to manage that issue. Height, at least 30in above canopy. With seedlings, I don’t go above ten % output. If they stretch, I will drop the light towards them and leave the output alone.
In full veg, at least 30-36 inch above canopy. Never above 40% output. (50%id fine if your lights have presets) if you look at the lights proximity in the pictures. That’s some space, and my plants aren’t all stretched out and lanky. Less is more sometimes.

Dayum hell yea, thanks dude! How many watts are your lights?

Il measure how high above my canopy the light is today and update you guys on that. Il post a screenshot of the spectrums of light that get put out right now as well.

That would trip me out if the light was bleaching my plant right now lol i feel like its a good 30ish inches away from the top, just going off memory

Not a pissed plant in the bunch brother.
They yell at you what is wrong usually.
Try your best to make that visual memory of this issue burn into your brain. Learning to read these girls is everything.
All and all. It’s a beautiful plants man.
Or make individual pic albums, I have a bunch at the ready for cross referencing. Viruses. Stages of growth.deficiencies ect Super handy way to build yourself a compendium

So I actually had that exact thing happen to a biker lemon og with the light setting I shared. It happened over night too…it happens though strain sensitivity is a bitch sometimes. Only plant it happened too…..

Oh and lighting in my current configuration spider farmer sf3000 tent
Spider farmer sf2000 bottom
Individual climate sections on monitor and independent ventilation and circulation
Back 2/3rds is
Spider farmer g4500
Spiderfarmer se7000
Just under 1700 watts
Load is split between multiple house circuits and heavy duty wiring ran for power outages for easy generator setup.
It’s a rig.
On a 6in in line for the room and a 4 inch in tent. Ran into a dual 6inch manifold
Where I have a 8inch carbon scrubber attic side where it terminates.
It’s goldilox for the little ones right now….
Fan set to 3

Thats a badass setup ya got there!

I know a 1700w light is gonna put out a buttfuckton more light than a 100w hahaha so i guess il have to just do some experimentation to figure out the best possible lighting for this situation

Synthetic will mess with your microorganisms but bio-mineral wont. I used the sensi ph perfect line from AN for years and even in the feeding table the microbes are present for the advanced table. In fact, it says that it promotes their growth. Synthetic = bad for microbes but bio-mineral and organic = good for microbes. Think about azomite or volcanic ash, it helps the microbes and its biominerals.

I use fox farms microbe brew plus azomite

What are you using then? Sorry, I saw a reference to it and I thought thats what you were using. I can check the chemical analysis real quick if you havent. Also what light? 30 inches sounds safe enough even for a strong light.

This is not iron deficiency for sure though. A seven week veg cycle would have no bearing on any of this
I veg plants for months. In solo cups.
The yellowing here, is either
A , lights out put is too bright or it’s too close
B , a mag deficiency caused by the above
C ,Backed off veg nutes too soon still wants n
you are using sdistilled water, that hasn’t been buffered by cal mag every feed well
There’s your huckleberry.
Iron deficiency is crazy rare.
Your plant is far too healthy otherwise.

Been doing this a long time homie.
This is my 2 cents. Click on my profile of you think I’m full if the dung.

In the pic, messed up iron levels relative nitrogen levels. Starts getting nutty with the way they interact.
The iron deficiency here, causes the plant to put n into over drive seeking to fill the void from the lack of iron. and is now causing the plant to pull n like nuts.

Good luck.

I would agree with this analysis. When we increase PPFD we also increase the rest of the processes going on. If the mag in your soil and plant weren't able to keep up with the increase it could certainly bring on the symptoms you are seeing.

I also agree with the need for N in flower. I like to continue using grow base after flip up until I start to see pre-pistil then I'll do a grow/bloom blend for a couple more feeds before I transition over to bloom only. Doing it this way seems to keep N at a level that keeps up with the increased growth that stretch and flower formation need.

Maybe I missunderstood something but Epsom Salts dont have any iron, its magnessium and sulfur. I use them for making my homemade calmag with calcium carbonate and vinegar but the iron I add with a supplement.

Correct I use epsom gypsum as my cal mag usually

But gotta be prepared, see something in a run, I’ll hit with the synthetics I’ve never had issues using them, it’ll do some
Microbe damage but not kill them totaly from a few light applications, I’d rather give the synthetic and not slow the plant down, I just continue to feed microbe brew and OG tea alongside the synthetics , last run I went full organic until time for week 4 top dress then did half rate top dress and started 1/4-1/3 dose fox farms micro / bloom and I biter hanging with flower fuel for last 3 weeks of feeding / bulking then water last week - week and a half,

I never PH though when I did I had issues just water in with neuts, and I kept a mechanical PH meter in the soil, stayed around 6.7 in all peat, never swung up or down so I never adjust or Checked beyond that

Right now im only using the purple cow bioactive superchargers (both the liquid and the powder), and im using the bushdoctor calmag from fox farms

Exactly, though I never stop giving because it’s mega crop, it has a bit more than just the n and the superseding supplement kinda wants that stuff as a building g block to more complete nutrition through mid flower,
Late flower its scorched earth . Everything it can stand for the swelling. As long as you meet the n demands specific to strain in mid flower, you should be golden as plant demand for n is donezo.

Damn dude really? Holy shit! Thats insane, i had it at 70% for seedling and had it oretty close, then turned it up to 100% and moved it to the top over time, thats crazy. Im gonna try the epsom salts as well.

You guys have no idea how much i appreciate the info @Eledin @PooToe @Captspaulding @Newty @Mikedin

I take everything you guys say seriously and just give my thoughts back, its the best way for me to learn. I like to have conversations and really learn the smaller details, and i love learning when i thought wrong
