Definitely was a lot more.... juices, i guess, coming out of the stems this time as opposed to every other time. So maybe thats a good thing, maybe itl help pump out what it needs to close up the cut and prevent infection. My hand smells good from it

Smell my finger....lol I can't stop sniffing it for hours after I have to pull off a problem leaf or tie up a chunky piece.

When I defoliate one of the things I do is look from top down to see if there are any areas that are bunched up with leaves. If I see an even distribution of my being able to see the bottom of the tent through the canopy and no bunching I'm done.

I used to fuck with my friends when we'd be in the car. While I was driving, I'd scratch my driver side window and smell it and say "My window smells like cherries. What does yours smell like?". They'd scratch their window and put their nose near it to take a whiff. This is the time I'd jerk the steering wheel to watch their face get smashed into the passenger side window.

I know......waddadick......

Agree with this. When you defoliate you want them to have anything they might need available asap. Another thing that helps is foliar feeding instead of water feeding, when theyre a bit stressed the roots dont perfom as well plus delivered via foliar is quicker. I know people who do it that way, but you need a liquid that specifies that can be used foliar of course.

Nevermind about the foliar feeding, woudlnt do it in flower so yes I would just water them with nutes before or right after defoliation.
There are bloom NPK nutes for foliar but you need to wash your buds before or after harvesting.

Yo does anyone think i should put a 2nd fan in my 2x2? Personally i feel like itd take up a little too much space for such a small grow, but id like to avoid budrot and other stagnant air problems as much as i can. If anyone has any experience to share id greatly appreciate it :)

I started a test gallon of nutrients to see how long theyd last in a reservoir. It smells kinda like vomit now, im assuming that means its fermenting and most likely could cause problems for a plant.

I have no intention of giving this test gallon to my plant lol i just wanted to see how long itd last as a closed reservoir in complete darkness. Lasted maybe a week or 2 before this smell started. And the smell doesnt leak out of the container and it also doesnt seem to be causing any gas buildup either. Both good signs, means things arent really growing in there. But damn does that smell bad lol

Looking at other plants close to the same age as mine, im noticing how tiny mine is lol one guy on youtube, grassinclass, has a 4 week veg thats literally 5 times the size of my plant lol totally different setup, but i think my biggest mistake was the watering i was providing in the first stages of her life. Nowhere near enough to encourage vigorous growth.

Heres a couple pictures from last night :) have a good one guys

YES!

Edit: I would want a fan on the lower end of the tent and pot. Blowing around under things : )

She is looking healthy! About the second fan I guess 2 is better than 1, at least thats what I see around. Ideally one above the canopy and one below the canopy. I do fine with 1 but I wouldnt mind having 2 hahaha. As for the nutes, if one nute in particular ferments in the bottle is fine, you can keep using it but you might have to rise the PH, when liquids ferment they tend to get more acidic. Now when its already mixed nutrients is a dangerous game, you dont know what reactions will take place in there besides fermenting because there's a bunch of chemicals that were not suposed to be in the same container for storage.

I know you made it as an experiment as to how much they would last before they ferment but I would advice that you mix them before you water and not let them sit around for days because of the beforementioned chemical reactions. If everything is 100% organic is way less likely that it will cause a problem even if fermented but still, I prefeer to mix before use.

Thats what i was thinking too lol i dont want bugs getting to my plant! But a 2x2x4 is super tiny, its really hard to manage all the devices i need to have in there lol kinda worried about 1 bud growin above the humidifier. Im hoping itl be fine but wel see

Thanks dude! good to hear youre working fine with a single fan right now. Do you keep thaylt fan above or below your plant? Im assuming its above the canopy to keep the airflow around the buds moving.

And thats exactly why i did this little experiment lol im an absolute noob so growing anything so i have no idea what reactions take place between these things. I have plenty of plants in my yard i can test it on, havent been able to upkeep lately so i really wouldnt mind if it just killed whatever i dump it on hahaha as long as i dont put it near any of my trees at least.

Thanks for the info guys :)

I'm biased but and agree with bear. I have like 7 fans on full blast doing my tent and 1 in the hall pulling fresh air into the room. So I'm a big fan of more fans. Lots of air movement.

Absolutely,
Overkill with this in Particular, is definitely the best. If you run sea of green scrog, it’s essential, and a nice fail safe. As long as the air is indirect, let her rip. There are 6 fans in total In my room. 2 passive ventilation. And 4 for circulation. Always be safe though, please try to split any voltage loads between seperate circuits on your breaker box.
And pick up your power connection points to feel if they are warm every few days or so, that’s no bueno even if they are just warm. and should always do diligent there.

Thats good advice, il definitely be checking my connections now. As for the fan, il have to get a tiny little thing but i agree with you and everyone else, the more airflow the better. 2x2x4 is just so damn little space lol probably should have gotten the bigger tent haha o well! Gotta work with what i have meow

Could just setup outside the tent, still assemble the frame from the tent for utility sake, and roll the tent up
Reflecting surface does help, but there ain’t no Mylar in nature ya dig? So yeah, if you can any ways. Why not?

I live in AZ, my humidity and temps get way out of whack if i even leave my tent open for an hour like today, theres lots of clouds in the sky and it sprinkled a little rain here and there. Buuuuut the humidity is still only 20% outside hahaha can get a little frustrating to mamage at times

You did good with that tent! When it comes time to upgrade you got yourself A. Seedling starting area B. Little veg tent for some perpetual thangs C. Drying tent and my personal favorite D. More room to grow things just poking a little : )
