It’ll bust the teeth off of it and then it will stop actually running the fan and you’ll have to walk over to it and move the neck a little bit to get it to catch again, so be super careful with those things. And yes it still happens when the oscillator is off.

Great fan, and settings, bad neck. Just a little tidbit so you can keep your shit nice

Hell yea thanks dude! I have that one and this tiny one i just set up today, definitely glad you told me that because i push things sometimes lol

This one is kinda cool, its like the size of a computer fan so it doesnt blow hard, and the front grate thing can be slightly unscrewed and its angled, so it spins when the fan blows and it blows the air around instead of blowing straight. I like it lol

Taking advantage of them ports eh?
Not a bad idea adding auxiliary hardware.
Especially in the circulation/ventilation dept.

Every thing out side of that tent in my space, all the wires for everything, wrapped in utility loops and clipped together with a carabiner that could pick up 2 kenworths with and stuff them all into a port.

I would ditch the autos but other than that super soil is way easier for sure

If you want to clear more room in the tent look at AC Infinity's T3 humidifier. Because you are in a dryer climate you may want to step up to the T5. Both have a supply hose that you can setup so that you can place the humidifier outside the tent while still having the probe inside regulating the humidity.

Humidifiers for Grow Tents, Rooms & Indoor Spaces | AC Infinity

Grow tent humidifiers that deliver consistent moisture ideal for propagation and veg stages.

Not sure if the humidifier you have can monitor the humidity levels around it but the T3 will give you more precision along with keeping the humidity levels stable.

Update pictures!

I took your advice and started giving her more water. Im making sure the soil is wet deep down and all the way across the entire medium and that immediately made a difference. Shes gettin BUSHY! Gonna need to defoliate soon i think, just trimmed 8 days ago though. Not sure how often i can trim without causing too much stress, but i think shes sayin shes ready.

Shes about a foot tall at this point, and about 6 inches away from the light. Its only a 100W light, she seems to be fine but maybe someone else has some experience with this?

Let me know what you think!

Update! I watered today and mixed a tablespoon of that new bioactive fertilizer from purple cow into the top layer of soil and watered. Hopefully that gives everything a nice little boost! It has 4 or 5 different types of beneficial fungus in it, a nice little chunk of phosphorus, and a nice little addition of extra minerals like iron and zinc and others. Il keep you all updated on how she looks!

Gonna give her a good haircut tomorrow. The time has come for the final defoliation! Lol im gonna go a little extra far with this one just to make sure the air is flowing through the plant without any problems and the light can penetrate nice and deep like.

Enjoy the weekly timelapse!

Hey so the tips of a my plants leaves, like just the very tip, are turning a deep purple. I think this is most likely genetics, but my temps have been lower than they used to be since winter is comin through. I know you can mess with temps and cause a plant to turn MORE purple, which would be pretty cool to look at, but i also want to make sure i dont hurt trichome production. So far this plant seems incredibly happy, so i dont plan on changing anything, but was wondering if anyone else has had a plant that turned purple from the leaf tips?

Pictures are views of temps, humidity and vpd from the last week, and the last month. You can kinda see the colder weather cooling my house off lol isnt this roughly the range of temps that can cause a plant to turn purple?

For anyone thinking "damn those are wild swings" trust me i know lol done everything i can to control it, thats as controlled as i can get it for now. Hopefully i can get it more dialed in at some point. But the lights make a massive difference, the moment they turn on the whole tent goes up by like 8 degrees and the relative humidity drops big time, then takes time for everything to balance back out. And then the lights go out and everything out of balance again hahaha i think i have a good balancing act going at this point though :)

Plants looking awesome, haven't looked through everything yet but cant wait to see the result!
You'll see anthocyanin becoming more prominent in flower depending on a lot of variables. Wouldn't worry about it at all, I've def had the outer edges of leaves turn purple first. And if the tips are burning a bit, well you know you pushed her to her fullest. 1000% better than my first grow lmao....

As valuable as all that data is, your healthy plant is the best indicator so I wouldn't worry too much about it. So far they seem to be loving everything you've thrown at it.

I hate to mention this because I don't want to become the jinx but keep an eye on your leaves. This is around the time you'll start seeing deficiencies and other issues. Your plant is healthy so I don't anticipate anything like that happening but you also aren't regularly feeding the plant other than the soil nutrition so I would keep an eye on any deficiencies that might crop up. If you catch them early then it's no big deal. It's when it goes on for a while where you start to have issues and have to slow down growth by backing off the lights so that the plant can get out of recovery and back into growth mode.

I completely agree, i think my plant is doing great and i dont plan on changing anything at all haha i was just curious if anyone has experience changing temps on purple to change flower color. Because the original bud i pulled it from is definitely not purple in any way lol its usually kinda light/pale green. So i think i just might have found a cool pheno of this plant, which im totally down for hahaha

I think with the recent dry fertilizer i used from purple cow is gonna insure no deficiencies, just because of how many nutrients and minerals it came with. Super excited to see how theyre reacting with the plant. Actually opening my tent right now for the first time since i fed and watered yesterday lol il let you all know how she looks! :)
