The cheapest "blue colored" plates I could find. They shipped missing washers, so I sourced those after almost losing an eye...cannot reccommend them..

The flower rosin finished its nucleation/crystalization, so cool to watch the slow change over 72 hours or so.

The salvadoran has been trickier, likes to budder up instantly, so have been playing around with increasing temps, bigger microns and whatnot.

The yellow haze that gave all this amazing rosin! Funky pine tar smellin, has such an annoyingly sticky wet resin. Sifts terribly, but squished at 26%!

That Grape Gallette x Sour Stomper cross looks fantastic, definitely finishing strong. F3 is a good place to be for stabilization. You should consider backcrossing to the Sour Stomper male for more auto traits or continuing the S1 line for selection.

Thanks! When I initially started that years ago I was aiming for the auto trait, but after growing the f3s for so long my fiancé prefers this stuff and it sifts/washes very nicely. growing the f4s to see what they look like before moving forward.

Cycle 15 for the 100g and 2nd for the new bed! Starting tonpop some old stuff in the fridge, have The Freeze f3 going and they are quite hairy little things! My f4s are going into the big pot.

Decided to give the salvadoran lady a name true to her backstory. Tres Semillas (Three seeds) "The El Salvador cut"!

Ran out of mesh bags, pausing on the rosin! Think Ill do some sifting these next couple days instead.

Not too much going on over here! The main tent is filling out nicely, clones are chilling, seedlings sprouting, and have a Salvadoran lady re-vegging.

Did get around to sifting some trim and pressing it into rosin, looks pretty insane I must say.

Dude that’s super trippy lookin! it looks like you could pick it up and snap a piece off for a bowl or dab! I’m sure that’s not the case

That actually is the case its oddly stable! It was from very dry sift, my very waxy stuff and double bagging was overkill. There was this white powder on the outer bag that I was scraping off; didn't seem to melt and wasn't sticky. I assume its was thca or something similar its on the bottom of the jar now. I have seen some videos of thca isolation using these plates, but seemed like a much more involved process. maybe some strains are easier to isolate thca from?

Have to ask, bear with me did you make a second press with that material with a single bag?

wondering if you pressed the herb itself that stuff came off, would you get that same stability? : ) all the stoner newbie pressing thoughts! hahah!

I did do a second press with maybe one large dab of dark resin as a yield MUUUCH lower quality stuff that has lots of small particulate in it after it burns.

I have pressed about a 1/2 pound of this flower and never saw such a pure white powder, BUT this strain was tuning into a sugary like rosin at low temps under 180 F, so I wasn't too shocked.

Its been a couple months farm, I’m all settled in from a move. Grow hasnt changed through! Have harvested once since the last post. Did a seed run of my f4 cross, wasnt too happy with them, seemed to lack vigor to some degree. Rather small plants but the flower is very nice. Still working on all the rosin from harvest before last.

Anywhoo heres some photos of whats currently going on.
