I have the canadian version of the volcano and throw hash on top of flower, does work but gets messy pretty quickly.MIne has a bowl(hole) and you can buy its like the same bowl with tiny holes its sold advertised for rosin.a lot harder to pull but a lot easier to clean
Hell yeah dude! Thats exactly the set up im trying to build!Threw a cheap diy press together and had a lot of fun pressing flower rosin for the first time. So cool to see it change consistency and smell over the course of 24-48 hours.
Lovely stuff, used the cured salvadoran flower from last harvest.

great looking stuff. how much flower did you start with? one of the hardest things for me to except is the pull ratio to flower. i havent had a chance to press any substantial amounts but i know when im able too itll be worth it! : )
Seems were always on the same page LOL. went with the 3x6 plates, but be careful you get what you pay for. During the first press I noticed the 4 couplings on top of the springs starting to get pushed out the top under load. sure enough one launched straight up like a bullet, thank God I was in a room with 25+ foot ceilings and my face not over it... The cage was missing washers on top of the springs below the top plate, scary stuff. after grabbing some nice thick washers, works like a dream. Sent a email/pics to Dulytek, have yet to hear back from them.Hell yeah dude! With this died 60% flower I was getting around 20% yield using "bottle tech" with 10g of flower. Pressed 6 bags getting almost 2g rosin every time. Tried the horizontal square bag press and returns were a little more than half.

Def want to try with dry sift soon, just got some 37u bags for it last night.
