Hey Farm looking to up grade my lights the only problem is I have know clue what to buy? Its a 10x10 Room with 8ft ceilings. Would like something with cooling tubes and switchable ballast for four 1000k. So I need 4 light, 4 ballest. and 4 hood with cooling tubes. Any info will be greatly appreciated;)

Im running Quantum and Galaxy ballast in Raptor hoods working good for me.

Ok I been looking at lights and ballast for the past few hrs online, and I agree with @Prime C a Raptor hood is a good choice and for the ballast I been looking at the Solis - Tek Matrix LCD Ballast with Built-in Digital Timer anybody on the Farm running these? what are you thoughts

Been using solis tek for years and I love em. Yours are the Bomba your gonna love em too. As for your girls.......they be very happy ever after.

Thanks that very good news I got them on watch now on Ebay lol, Question how are they holding up on running a 240 set up or do you run 120?

Flower room with 2 units on 240...... One thousand mh one thousand hps dimmables. Fully dialed up in the winter, custom tuned in the summer. Dude they rock....never one glitch......safe.....well built. GL

Hell Yeh! thats a sure buy then, I have to 1000 MH just for veg and want to add 4k all on 240 love the custom tuning cant wait to mess with that... The FPOG F2's is gonna love me:joyful: thanks again for you help peace...

this room is 10'6x11' these hoods are the G2V.they are made of anodized aluminum, the have a double wall for even more cooling capabilities and clearer glass. 8" ducts 36"x42" these run super cool. this is an 8' ceiling actual plant height gets to 60"

Lol,what did you use on the floor?paint?I ended up with a light gray because i could not find white epoxy but i prefer the all white,super clean,good job!

i use interior flay white paint, egg shell sheen. this has a ton of reflectivity and it is just the standard white tint base from any hardware store or paint store. i repaint the floor after a quick clean after every round, walls as needed.

ive seen on youtube where they rate ballasts and hoods by par measurements. not sure if the study its accurate or bias? The solitek was rated one of the better ballast.

Well just hooked up my lights, Now I know what my plants been missing all this time. Got two 1k ballast with free remote, two 1k bulbs and two hoods, and two 600 watt 6000k bulbs for my 600 ballast that I already had and the yo-yo's where free. In the future the two 600's will b replaced with 1k's also..Love the lights so bright my girls are going to love me:happy:
