Tinny Bugs Around Base Of Pot

hey guys I noticed in my garden today around some of my 5 gallon pots on the ground there was a few very small little oval specs of bug that kinda look like they jump. My pot are in a dish so they aren't directly in the ground. I'm thinking fungus knats. But they don't fly. Any ideas

Probably springtails if they jump, they're not much of a nuisance in my experience. Got pics?

There is so few I can't get a good pic but I googled springtails and that looks dead on. How do get rid of them?
